This is the video which made me buy it. I have had it @ 3800Mhz and it beats my Corsair vengence pro RGB @ 3600 when it was @ 3800. I have it at c16 but I'm using 1.35v. I had it at 1.45 and my mobo overvolts by 0.3v; in the summer it became completely unstable... Now I have a fan on it tracking ambient temperature.
The thing is I've left it alone for a couple of months. Also when I upgraded the bios I had to redo my timings and I followed this guide (and learned a lot, most important setting is the first one in the guide and procODT (most impact on stability especially in RAM not on QVL list):

At the time I couldn't be fussed and just went for a safe setting. This is with 4 dimms but its only come to my attention that 2 x16GB is the superior config (also boards with 2 dimm slots, I got this board with a bundle from OcUK).
So I'm just about to upgrade my bios to F31 agessa 1.1.1.0 with support for 5000 series CPUs. I've just spent a couple of days troubleshooting a Sabrent Rocket 4.0 on a raid OS (solution: use standard NVME controller driver from device manager); and I just feel in the mood to mess with the timings. Maybe if I push for 3800Mhz then I can compare what I get from 5900x, but as I say 2 x 16GB is the way to go and acutally marginally cheaper than 2 2x8GB kits.
This is your reference on 2 x 16GB sticks. This guy is a real overclocker (its my first time spending more than 1min setting ram timings):

As far as 4400 MT/s memory. Its just a number. The chips have been highly binned, so you can choose your own timings and frequency and have quality bDie while doing so.
Also if you actually read the guide I posted above, it give you a significant performance boost in games including min framerate.
Actually I have seen kits from Crucial being sold for ~£500 and I paid £133 and that was before the memory & NAND flash price bubble burst (which is projected to drop in price into 2021). However I think that retailers might put prices up because people may be interested in upgrading their RAM for 5000 series.
