:D

Ryzen Master Installed which did work with the 7950X3D, it took over 2 hours to do a per core OC optimisation.. I left the default max range as -30 and after 2 hours, it had magically worked out that every single core should be -30! I will never get those 2 hours back, Y-Cruncher immediately identified 3 cores failing.

So I will just follow LtMatts advice and do it manually.. I might do a quick 'n' dirty scan using a cut down set of Y-Cruncher or maybe give CoreCycler a go as I can cut that down easily in time to whatever is most efficient and then do the longer Y-Cruncher runs.

As per the other Thread, my SP is 110, Harshell123 is 111, LtMatts is 111 (was 112 initially) anyone else want to share to see what kind of spread we have, all looking quite tight and reasonable.
111 here.

I was thinking is there any reason for me to install the new Ryzen Master, my CPU wont go lower then Ngative 26 on the CO so probably not....

Mine is 110

Is the gist of this that the 78003dwill be what most gamers need and the 79503d will be a bit faster for productivity multi core but not necessarily in games?

I think the 7800x 3d will be slightly slower in some games that take advantage of the extra chip on the 7950x 3d but not many. However it is in my opinion the better option due to not having to worry about the Xbox gamebar working as intended all the time, and some games work better with just the 3d anyway so….

Oh how come the gamebar thing isn't needed? Not that it matters as I have it installed. Mentally it wouldn't feel like an upgrade as I have an 8 core now lol.

It’s just what decides what is a game and therefore what chip to use. It’s not got in my way at all, but I do wish it just worked without it. It’s not needed on the 7800x 3d because it’s just the 3d so just running as normal. The 7950x 3d is sort of like two in one, which sort of complicates things hence the gamebar.

I’m sure over time it will only get better.

I’ve just noticed m on 666 posts. Somethings bound to happen now

Yeah I guess there is always that doubt if it's actually working properly!
666th post replying to me, now we are bound by blood.

Can we get back to the CPU things hey ;) I thought someone had something interesting lol....
Well, me and CAT have managed to make the Zen4 3D release somewhat tangent to Bethesda: we both requested any Zen4 3D owners who want to volunteer to test out FO4 performance to submit scores on CAT's FO4 benchmark thread:

Zen3 3D was already about 2% of the top score, so I'm sure some Zen4 3D owner can get the top score there!

there is no "you can't do that" orbit drop a crewed APC out of the back of a cargo hauler, because why not?
I do hope it burns in the atmosphere or it will be a bit of a mess between an arcade and some realistic elements that I don't want to have :))
With that said, I think a lot of CPUs that run F4 and F76 good enough will run Starfield just fine and probably SQ42 as well. Or they will after some patches :))

BTW, to control the PBO aspects from Ryzen Master, does it need a 570x motherboard? I doesn't show up on mine x470.

My 7900x3d vcache cores cap out at 5150 I'm cinebench single thread test is that normal I thought it was 5250 I have pbo on and curve set to negative 20 on all cores

This sort of thing.... not advisable on a full size planet, ArcCorp, MicroTech, Hurston.... gravity will get ya on landing :D but a small moon like Yela....

Anyway, no, PBO, in fact everything works the same on B550 as it does on X570, other than getting an extra PCIe 4 NMVe slot there is no difference between X570 and B550.

I don't have the b550, but the x470 chipset :D

Sorry for the noob question @LtMatt but can you clear this up for me? Am I right in thinking when I play a game both 3d and non 3d are activated? So if I wanted to say just run off the 3d I would have to manually switch off the non 3d in bios for example? Or does the gamebar completely disable the non 3d and would I have to enable it for some games?

Game bar and the Chipset drivers handle it all. Generally games prefer cache to the second CCD will be asleep during games. However, If a gale wants more than 8 cores it’ll wake up the second CCD and use those cores. Cyberpunk and Spider-Man do this.

I just get paranoid it’s not doing what it should.

And no I’m getting no stuttering before you ask
