Will you be purchasing the 7800X3D on the 6th?

Sadly I'm still not able to get sound in the game, so I got a little further in to test that area you mentioned.

It still runs fine for me btw.

I couldn't reproduce any stuttering, one of the smoothest games I've played in recent times tbh. Frame time graph at 100ms as requested too.
So what is it then.? Does the game require 32 threads to run smooth..?

Question is, do we still need to enable X Box Game Bar on the 7800x3d? My game is noticeably running smoother, than my old 9900K.

No.

That is extremely specific to the 7950X3D and 7900X3D because they have two differently performing chiplets and needed something to recognise "games" and sort what goes where.

7800X3D has one chiplet so zero decisions to make. Also if you do install everything the 7950X3D and 7900X3D needs but actually use a 7800X3D you can get worse performance.

how does this even make sense I'm 7fps away from hardware unboxed 7800X3D result.
Stock GPU and no Hardware Acceleration

Resolution in LtMatt's video is 1080p though. Isn't your stuttering at 4K? I have your same stuttering at 4K. It's possible that frametime is much smoother at 1080p.

7700x has a higher boost clock than the 7800x3d, not everything benefits from the 3dcache

Did you set the memory timings yourself? HUB used an X670E Aorus Master, which is one of the motherboards with the tighest timings out of the box. If you're using another motherboard, you need to specifically tune your memory to get similar results
I'm on 7700X and nearly beating his 7800x3d result and yes you can see my timings and have a MLB and +75hz on CPU but still 7700x should not be that close to 7800x3d with 6000mhz 2000fclk

SoTTR is insanely hungry for fast ram I'm sure someone with 7800x3d and tuned ram will smash my results but not sure by how much and i only tested stock GPU and no Hardware Acceleration, not sure they will make difference though

Yep, realised you had a 7700X after posting my message (which I then deleted, since I was making the wrong point).

I can see you have around a 25% more fps than the 7700X in HUB's test. That's impressive. I guess, you've tuned it to the point that you can get much better results. Or maybe there are some settings that are slightly different? (although I doubt it, since it's just on Highest settings)

no its just the ram tightened and CPU MLB PBO +75mhz -14 CO and optimized OS, if i could still do 6400 2200fclk like before then i would get way more but my CPU wet the bed after messing with SoC voltage (tried to see how low i can get the SoC voltage to from 1.43 Bios Auto to slowly 1.32 -10mv each time) and now it wont do over 2000fclk stable, basically soon as i got to 1.32 my latency increased by allot and it all went downhill from there

why is it that the 7950X3d is never in stock, or the 7800X3D?

They are the ultimate cpus for gaming. Not always by a lot but they are the best ones.

There are tons of people who will buy the best parts and if its one step down it's trash to them.

The 7900X3D is one step down. You can buy that one anywhere. It has a price premium like those other two for being new and with 3D cache but the internals are inferior, resulting in worse gaming performance so very few people have a reason to go near it.

I chose 1080P as lower resolution increases the load on the CPU, if it only occurs at 4K it’s not a cpu stuttering issue then.

Are you selling your 7950X3D or another one?
I have a second that I ordered at launch (it was in stock at the time but they never delivered and moved it to pre-order) and it turned up a week or two ago.

I actually meant to cancel it but forgot so will be selling it.
