Motherboard, went with the B650 Aorus Elite. Got it in March though, so will have to do a bios update as the update for optimising 3D chips also came out in March. Wondering if that's more for the scheduling, though.

X3D CPUs boot and work with any version of bios. New versions do have optimisations, so recommended update.
 
So I got my 7800X3D yesterday and got it installed, everything seems to be working ok and still setting up drivers etc, however I noticed that the v-cache optimiser and PPM installed automatically. What's the best way to remove these, as I understand they're not good for the 7800X3D!
 
UPDATE

We have a huge amount of 7950X3D due between now and end of month.
We have over 1000 7800X3D due between now and end of month.

We expect to have cleared all back orders by end of this month and be showing green in stock! :)

It is fair to say this launch has gone super smooth, communications top notch and stock on time or early. :)
 
Anyone knows if we can claim Jedi: Survivor Game Bundle with the 7800x3d orders? As its not on the list, but in US, they are offering it.

Got my 7950x3d last night :D cant wait to get building at weekend.

Whats the consensus on resizable bar with the 3d? Do they play well together? or does the extra cache overide it?

Just spoke to Customer Services and to say I'm disappointed is a massive understatement. I pre-ordered a 7950x3d on 1st March as well as an AIO and some case fans. Everything was paid for in full at the time. The order is still on hold as the AIO is now out of stock and the 30 7950x3d's that arrived this week have been allocated to other customers.

So, in theory, in a couple of weeks the AIO could come back into stock and the CPU be sold out again. This seems a ludicrous way to deal with multi-part pre-orders - despite taking payment the stock is not allocated to your order.

Just had a look at the AMD T&Cs, they also offer the game for the X3D processors now.
