Is this what you see as well?

I went and checked mine. I think my AMD drivers came from either MSI app or windfows update. So I got the latest from AMD just now. I'm "missing" the I2C driver, is that possibly motherboard specific? I'm MSI Tomahawk x670E. No indication during install but I looked at the install log and the GPIO failed?

Good news is that my device manager shows no unknown devices, it was showing 1 before :)

It's nice the 7800x3D includes Jedi Survivor now. Just ordered with delivery tomorrow else where :D

Selling my old PSU and 7600x and minus the game makes it a £110 upgrade! lol.

Just to add it looks like Jedi Survivor codes are been back dated now, so should retroactively be available to everyone with a x3d chip. Offer only extended to these chips yesterday but people are getting codes upon request looking at Reddit. AMD have updated their terms to include purchases from 24th Jan 2023.

Mine does a weird thing on 3dmark where it has a small spike. I'm not sure if this is normal.
Yeah, I searched this cpu on the 3dmark results page and there are a lot of users exceeding the clock frequency. If it’s a software blip it will eventually be resolved so I’m just enjoying my one now. I find I usually get the higher clock speed after longer periods of normal use, it doesn’t do it right away on boot and I can’t make it do it.

Edit: What I forgot to say is when my results show a higher clock frequency I also get a higher score outside of margin of error so I do think the random boost is “real”. Unless the clock speed by itself automatically means you get a higher score, irrespective of performance.

I've done a quick test with the 7800X3D Vs my old 5900X. I've used Wildlands as it's the game we are currently playing. I've also thrown my Wife's PC in as she is running a 5800X3D and a very comparable GPU.
I think it's a decent uplift considering it's the CPU and I am running at a high resolution, the game also feels smoother with less random stutters.

Thats nice, I haven't got mine yet, did they say anything about 48 hours?
I put in a request on Wednesday, had a response yesterday morning but still no code. It doesn't look like there is any particular order the codes are issued if some people are getting them so quickly. Where is the code email from, AMD?

I'm sure you'll get the code. Don't worry as the game isn't even released yet. 28th apparently.

UPDATE!

7950X3D - NOW IN STOCK - ALL BACK ORDERS SHIPPED
7800X3D - 200 JUST LANDED AND NOW IN STOCK - ALL BACK ORDERS SHIPPING!

We have another 700 units of 7800X3D due with us next week, so if they sell out over the weekend, rest assured more are due, likewise for 7950X3D, but we hope now we can keep both these CPUs permanently in stock as we have decent volume deliveries now expected every week in May. Should be no more running out! :)

Making dreams come true. :D

Now all major suppliers are showing in stock for 7950X3D and 7800X3D here in Switzerland.

Was AMD holding back stock all this time?
