Very disappointed with the vcache this round. Was hoping 7950x3d would wipe the floor with the 13900 but just seems to keep up with it, swings and roundabouts on some stuff.
Kind of makes raptorlake look impressive.

The 8core vcache chip is going to be the obvious one to have for gamers if going amd, 16 core part doesnt benefit from the 8 extra cores in games and doesnt benefit from the extra cache in productivity so its just meh scenario for it. Rarely do you get hard core productivity people being hardcore gamers

The 7950X3D has wiped the floor with the 13900, just as the 7950 did before it. The floor is now sterile.

actually quite impressed how much less power it uses during gaming which will mean Intel will have to respond. need both to keep having to push
 
Realistically what improvement would I see upgrading from a 5800x3d/3600CL14 to a 7950x3d with decent 6000 mhz memory when graphics bound with a 4090? I suspect it’s minuscule.
