RYZEN DDR4 MEMORY, WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW!

One of my month old tridentz stick died today. Thinking of getting something else. Any one got experience with Corsair Dominator on Ryzen thinking of getting
CMD16GX4M2B3200C16

Yeah it went from working to dead. Was so bad was crashing the bios. I tried updating bios before I knew what it was and it hung during the flash. It bricked the bios but praise gigabyte my board has dual bios!! Running one stick smooth as silk. Will probably just order the corsair dom as that's the second g skill that's died after some use. That and I can't wait for an rma

Well thats crap. At least you still got 1 stick though right! Keep us updated when new ram arrives.

Managed to get my timings down a bit to 14,15,15,15,30 @2927 (or whatever strange speed it's running at) so my latency is under 80. Think might look at cpu OC now.....I know XFR is off when you OC, but what about turbo? Is it better to OC on all cores with no turbo, or have a slightly lower OC with turbo still enabled?

On what is guaranteed everything is working fine. OC is not guaranteed, it's a choice to be guinea pig

Seems to me that RAM speed (which is reported to be an important factor in Ryzen performance) is a bit of a lottery at the moment. I could buy 3000Mhz DDR4 and not achieve that speed. Yes, I know that buying 3600Mhz RAM won't enable 3600Mhz RAM speed, but the point I'm making is that to get maximum Ryzen performance isn't simply a case of buying a decent MB and fast RAM.

Guys I have D432GB 3200-16 Ripjaws V from G.Skill but I just can´t get it working above 2133 Mhz :(
Mobo is the MSI X370 Pro Gaming Carbon. Neither the XMP profiles work nor can I get it to 2400 or 2666. Dunno what I do wrong... what DRAM voltage settings are you guys using?

I have Gskill ripjaws V, 3200 C14, 2 x 8 GB running at 3200 MHz with a vcore of 1.37 V at 16-16-16-36-75-2T. The settings are applied manually, not DOCP or XMP.

This needs dialling back to 1.35V but I applied 1.37 for the initial set up of the frequency.

Can anyone help my find out why I'm getting absurdly low write and copy speeds? Looking around google images I am way off the mark, my write speeds should be identical to my read but you can see that I'm nowhere near.

One thing after another with this ******* build. Here's some 3000 corsair performing better at lower speeds. I also ran the gskill 3600 at 2666 and the write and copy speed did not change :/

1.405 on ddrs 1.435 vcore under load 1.132 soc under load llc2. Every single thing in bios set manual. 30 hours of tweeking over easter.

Pc wont boot with pstate oc. I got full stable 3472 memory with cl16 timings power state oc

Max cpu temperature on ibt 87c with offset

Easter with Ryzen since my foot is ****** atm i cant walk. Spent easter home alone with ryzen. Doctor at 4.20pm for more naproxen and posdibly sick nite fir next few weeks :(

That sucks. I'm currently battling with feet issues myself I've been sat down at work for the last few weeks only standing when needed. It sucks. But hey at least you got decent ram!
I don't think I've ever been so unlucky when it comes to components
