Hi There

I recommended https://www.overclockers.co.uk/king...hannel-kit-black-hx426c13sb2k2-my-235-ks.html (the last one; now it's out of stock)

to my friend to go with GA-AB350N-Gaming WIFI mb and I can get it to 2400 only with new bios F6a. Every time I try the 2666 profile I get beeps and then it reverts to stock speed 2133. The memory HX426C13SB2K2/8 is on the mb supported list http://download.gigabyte.eu/FileList/Memory/mb_memory_ga-ab350n-gaming-wifi.pdf which got me puzzled. BTW the processor is Ryzen 3 1200 no OC yet.

Any hints would be appreciated?

What voltage are you giving the ram? 1.4V would be good.

Yes, 1.4 or even higher (<1.5) is OK for DDR4 memory. Try 1.4V, then you may find lowering in increments you get to 1.37V like my 3200 C14 Ripjaws.

How you finding the Ripjaws Nkata? i have 3400mhz C16 ones for my build, bought them a while ago before the info that specific types are better and i was worried that they might be a bit gash.

Absolutely fine. I did not want RGB (although I bought a C6H :D). Looked for something reliable and not too expensive, at the time £145 for 16GB.

Since Agesa 1.0.0.6 they have been rock solid at spec., 3200 C14 1.37V. before then they were at 3000Mhz.

Thanks. I have tried 1.4v with 2666 profile and still no boot. I have also tried custom timings e.g. 16-17-17-17 40 1T no boot as well. It gets me puzzled as memory was on supported list.
