Would have loved to see George on the podium but despite that, this was the most enjoyable race of the year for me. I’ve been looking forward to this one since they announced they were using the outer loop.

Really hope F1 races here again.

Fittipaldi radio - Green and white chequered baby. Haha. That's how we do it.

Pit - Mode slow please. Mode slow.

Fittipaldi - For sure, I learned a lot. I'm gonna improve in the next one.

Pit - Yeah man, lets go get them.

Fittipaldi - So thank you, thanks Ernesto. Tried my best. Certainly a little bit better in dirty air under braking. Front left is brutal man, kept locking up. That's what killed us in this race.

We’ve had so many brilliant tracks this year, we seem to be back to the normal selection of dullness next year.

Merc should be embarrassed with themselves for all this. Putting when not needed, throwing bad tyres on Bottas etc. What the hell are they doing.

Pitting was probably the right decision judging by how bad Bottas' tyres were in the closing laps. Sure he's not fantastic, but he's not bad to have so many cars streaming past him. The only problem Merc botched it.

Absolutely gutted for Russell, but he's absolutely proved himself as a driver.

Botas and Albon just aren't good enough. Vettel is simply past it, Kimi too. That's 4 places to fill.

Albon has been poor all season, he needs to go back to a smaller team for a while. I'm a big Kimi fan, but the he should retire now. Previously he was beating Giovanni but now he's just not performing.

I'm actually expecting Vettel to be quick next year. Nobody rates his racecraft, but in pure speed terms I'm not sure he's past it just yet. Looking forward to hearing what he says about the Ferrari once he's left.

F1 contracts mean pretty much diddly squat nowadays, don't be surprised if it happens.

They mean the same as every contract in the history of contract law. Nothing new of different in F1. The terms, conditions, and clauses exist for a reason. Never understand why people think F1 is somehow different or special in this regard.

I always think Vettel is a bit like plenty of other World Champions; fine when out in front with a quick car; and able to be quick over a lap in qualifying; but not so good coming through traffic

Fine, take 'F1' out of my statement.

Fact is, nobody knows what terms, conditions, and clauses exist in Bottas contract, and even if there is no exit clause there's still things that can be put on the table to entice him to leave. Money and an extended contract with Williams for example, or stay at Merc another year, win nothing then you're gone.
