Samsung Galaxy Note: 5.3", 1200x800 SuperAMOLED, S-PEN stylus, 2500mAh attery... *phew*

Personally I didnt think Swiftkey was anything special at all, AI Type was better.

Well thanks for getting me to install yet another keyboard :p

AI Type's prediction seems very nice when using the cloud, but on a 2g connection it can be pretty slow and erratic. Sometimes it freezes entirely for a couple of seconds when I tap a predicted word, which doesn't happen when using it on wifi. I'm also not sure how comfortable I am with everything I type getting sent to their servers, even with encryption enabled.

Went to every shop in town then every shop in the city to find a working sample of the note....

not one! :(

Most of the shops didn't know it existed!

A person at orange insisted "it almost identical to the S2" :/

Thanks for that link Robbo, ordered it yesterday evening. Will need to up the data a lil bit, guess I can just give voda a call.

Anyone found a decent case for it? I don't want a leather flip case, just a silicon/hardback one.

I'm using a cheapy black silicone case atm, but it looks a bit cheap tbh.

The two best cases I've seen so far are the official samsung ones. One is a replacement-phone-back book cover type one that looks like it folds back behind it okay (so it doesn't flap about when trying to type on it etc). It doesn't look like it'll do a great job of protecting the fake-metal paint around the edge though.

The second samsung one is a faux-leather simple pouch to protect it in your pocket that looks pretty good.

Both are around £20.

Just ordered this on t-mobile for £25p/m for 600 mins/500 texts/500mb interent and £120 upfront. Works out at about £730 over 2 years.
