Any Note users feeling tempted by the S3? If both phones were released this month I'd still buy the Note, and to think we've had it for almost 6 months now! *strokes overclocked 80gb note* :D

I am intreged?
How did you overclock it? An your referring too the CPU+GPU?
Instructions on how to do it?
Also can you point me to any cheap 64GB MicroSD Cards Please!

Rooted, install tegrak overclock and its just a click. Tbh there is no real need to overclock since the Note handles everything well. Last time I checked, 64gb cards had dropped significantly in price, they were around £40-45. I paid double that for mine afew months back, the sandisk class 6 card works well on the Note. :)

WOW, just looked into the overclocking aspect.
Upto 1.6GHz on the Tegrak Ultimate package.

As for SD Cards, really struggling to find them cheaper that £60.
Any links?

That's weird, they have shot up to ~£60 now. Hold off for awhile they should drop again, they were definitely around £45 a few days ago.
I figure, supply an demand.. Has things inflated abit.
Still 1.6GHz Dual Core + 80GB Flash + 5.3" HD Screen. Goodness in a few days.
So won't complain too much. :)

SanDisk Mobile Ultra Android microSDXC UHS-I Card 64 GB with Adapter

Type that into google and second link, £45. :)

i have one of thouse on order but its not due till the 15th - still collecting all the bits i need to fully migrate to the note from my iPhone... need to work out how much i'm going to use it and what i'm going to use for my work phone - need to keep with the lumina for the time being but will probably switch that back to iPhone...

After the disappointment of the S3 I'm pretty much set on getting one of these now.

What do comics look like on them? Is anyone post a photo of 1 page full screen in portrait? Would like to know it it's readable or if I would need to zoom/scroll/use landscape to read them properly.

Thanks

What micro SD card will work best with the note? I was looking at the 32gb class 4, but have seen the class 10 card. Would that be better? Im guessing the class 10 has better data transfer. Im not really up to spec on the class thing.

I used a class 10 in the SGsII and now will put it into the Note. Class specification on cards defines the minimum transfer rate, higher the class, faster the card.

Class 2 2 MB/s
Class 4 4 MB/s
Class 6 6 MB/s
Class 10 10 MB/s

How do you feel today?

as if he got what he expected from s3 a great upgrade to w/e headset you have(exclude one x here) ?! really its funny what did people expect from s3? hex core cpu? 2ghz? 2gb ram ? 20mpx camera? 1080p screen? really.. reading too much into rumors.. there was no need for anything extra in s3..

Yeah, but people wanted something a bit more, not the minimum required for Samsung to pass it off as a successor. Mainly a more interesting and intelligent design for the most part.

It's still a brilliant device and is top notch without a doubt, but they haven't raised the bar.
