- None of the Samsung apps are installed on it
- No FM Radio
- There is an option in the to "Use passive audio out on the dock". Can't test it though.

EDIT\ One thing i should say is that the Camera is not as good as the TW one. It works fine, but it's not as well presented or with as many features. My only real gripe to be honest

The lack of fm radio is annoying, but if you can use a usb dac then that more than compensates. will have to get paranoidandroid to test! Been waiting for ages for google to sort out usb dac feature and they still havent despite it being number 7 on the list of requested google changes...

Tried both the RocketRom v5 and CM9 yesterday, I didn't like the way that RocketRom stuck with Touchwhiz and a modified touchwhiz. It didn't feel that snappy and adding another launcher ended up in pretty poor performance. Sticking with CM9 nightly for now... seems very good!

A tiny bit buggy, but we'll see how it goes over the next couple of weeks. The battery drained 25% in about 2 hours this morning, although most of that was from "media player", still seems excessive... also lost the notifications bar once which required a reboot.

In terms of speed it's by far the smoothest/fastest rom I've used on the Note.

Which nightly are you using? I'm using 29th may atm and its very stable, been using it for two weeks now and no crashes.

The night before last I guess, downloaded the latest yesterday.

... I'm looking for the changelog for each nightly but haven't managed to find them yet.

My battery life sucks with ICS!? I used to get at least 12-18hrs of use of it now its down to 10'ish. I could be using more as its so much better, I'm not sure. It was fully charged this morning (its plugged in overnight) and its already at 44%, 6hr 10min on Standby. All I've done is read a few emails, add a few Calendar dates. No calls or anything. Screen has taken up 56% of the battery. Must change that.

Also, S Voice / Voice Talk doesn't work anymore, just crashes. Anyone else got it working?

Same here mate, my battery life has been pretty poor since updating to ICS.

I'm on -
baseband XXLPT
build XXLPY

Am I on an older version?

Some days my battery life in ICS seems normal, but most days it's been bad compared to GB. For example in GB when idle it used to drain by about 0.5% per hour, in ICS that increased to 2% per hour.

ICS seems to give me tons of random wakelocks that I never experienced in GB. Yesterday I found the picasa service had been keeping my phone awake for 4 hours, who knows why as I don't think I've taken any photos or used picasa in weeks.

I wonder when android phones will stop growing... or if there will ever be a mainstream screen size for high end handsets. My SGS2 is just about the maximum I think I'd want... but when my upgrade comes in a year I think I will struggle to find anything smaller than 4.7inches the way things are going.

If its new it will take a couple of charge cycles or so before the battery works at its best/properly calibrated, also I turn off GPS unless I'm actually using it as that seems a pretty big battery hog on mine.

I wouldn't worry about the RAM useage the OS works by doing a fair amount of caching in RAM and keeping data in RAM after an application has stopped using it incase its needed again, all this is tagged as being re-useable if something else needs RAM so actual "available" RAM is higher than it says (tho I do sometimes see a little bit of lag from this when it needs to swap out a lot of data but on the flip side it more often results in better performance).

Note is about as big as I'd ever want - now I'm used to it the screensize is perfect but I really can't see myself ever going any larger.

Why would it be synching photos for 4 hours when I haven't been taking any?

Thanks for the suggestion, though I'm not particularly thrilled with the idea of making up for Samsung's broken update by disabling features that I was previously able to have turned on with excellent battery life.
