Samsung Galaxy S... highest spec Android phone released... also with QWERTY!

I've told her she is getting a much better phone for £96 (2 year contract) but says she prefers the smaller layout of the SF.
She's got a week to change her mind so help me out OCUK, why should she go for the SGS?
Everything is better in comparison I'd guess. Screen size/quality, speed, camera, HD video, built in storage, RAM, accessory options. etc etc. Plus the fact that you can get Android 2.3 officially and even the incredible 4.0 ICS with a simple ROM flash.

Finally got an official gingerbread release for my derivative of the Galaxy. So much more stable than the froyo release which always had reception issues.

Got round to putting ICS on my SGS yesterday. First impressions, it's good! Not had any crashes so far, and only one bug with text corruption on the launcher homescreen with certain widgets active.

Very much a worthwhile step up from GB.

After saying that I've gone back to stock. Performance in ICS is all over the place and general annoyances due to it not being officially supported. Will wait until I can justify getting another phone now.

Is anyone having issues with receiving text messages on ICS?

I seem to be receiving most, but not all messages.

Exactly the reason i went back to gingerbread, calls and text werent getting through but odd ones were, caused me a right load of grief, sold the s now and got a s2 for 265! lol

Got £140 for mine, it was a mint white 16gb one. Nice phone, but I fancied a change to the SGS 2.

I've been meaning to ask this for months but which is the best keyboard to use on the OCUK forums?
Both the Gingerbread and Samsung keyboards are awful because as soon as you touch the screen to start typing everything moves up and you have to type blind.
I can't scroll so I can just see the part I'm typing so what do you lot use that may be better?
