Looks like my first go is a failure, being told that the 3gb fup is an additional £5 a month, however the call centre I got through to didn't seem to understand the terms & conditions, initally telling me it's for mobile broadband only.

I'll try again tomorrow.

Yea One lady told me that to use the 3gb FUP i had to pay extra, just keep trying dude should get it sorted, good luck :).
 
Anyone done the froyo update yet? I'm desperate to try it but don't want to lose any functionality.

Sorely tempted by the Zenus case. The Korean Gmarket place might be the best option for ordering, although I'm finding it difficult to decide what style/colour to get.
 
Is there a way on the music player to turn off the album art on the left hand side when viewing music, I feel it's slowing it down when I go to scroll through. Failing that, another music player that allows this??
 
So who's running the 2.2 ROM? Does the cloud stuff work? And has anyone run linpack to see how how it compares to snapdragon phones e.g. N1.
 
One of my brother in laws just got the S, I only found out when he Google talked me saying he's joined the club!

I look forward to playing with it in depth :D
 
Its not too bad needs work though as we expected it would, flash does work on the browser if you dl the apk file for it.

The lag seems to be gone so that's good news not had any lock ups yet but sometimes it does hang then all of a sudden finish what you asked it, happened a few times today but in all not as bad as i was expecting it to be.

I personally would wait for a better release to come am sure the chaps at xda will have some of the issues ironed out and running better, a video below of somone using it.

It's basically an alpha release by the looks of it, so hopefully the beta and full versions will run super smooth as we expect. Cross your fingers!!
 
has anyone managed to work out the bug with windows 7 and connecting this phone so you can transfer media ? doing my head. Its ok to flash as odin see's it .

But windows does not see it all

have you checked to see if usb debug mode is off?
