Samsung KS7000 55inch just been delivered...

Picked mine up st the weekend from John Lewis. It seems it has the fault like others with the back panel slightly loose on the left side. It isn't sitting flush. as much as it isn't too much a problem now I'm guessing it could get worse / cause problems down the line? Can I get John Lewis to pick it up and drop a new one off st the same time?

its the double sided tape or one of the bracket wires we get it all the time

Sorry what do you mean?
the ks7000 come out with double sided tape to hold the backs on some tape applications were substandard using wrong tape i believe so it doesn't actually hold the back on. I know when we replace backs or re screen we used the thicker tape to negate this issue

Just got the TV delivered, managed a £829 price match too from JL :D.
The TV is A LOT bigger than I thought in the flesh but it looks amazing in 4K HDR.

Just filled out the online form honestly and they honoured it no problem. Maybe I just got lucky!

i rang them up and they saw my price honour at £840. told them about it being £829 and he did it on the phone.

Maybe contact Samsung directly as its just some tape admittedly very poor maybe even have someone i know come do the fix lol

John lewis came and collected and replaced today. This one is glued together! just need to get calibrating

Just out of interest, which bit is prone to coming loose?
Mine is hanging on the wall from the top 2 vesa bolts and I'm a bit worried about it :o

What about the bottom 2 bolts?

The panel on the back of mine has started to come loose too, seems like a very poorly made unit.

hi there buddy dont worry about it as the wall mount bolts are bolted to screen and not back panel so its not just going to drop off

If you go for a samsung sound bar like the Samsung HW-K450 you can connect it wirelessly

https://www.avforums.com/review/samsung-hw-k450-soundbar-review.12624

Depends how much you want to spend really.

I have a HW-K550 connected to mine with the rear wireless speakers and it sounds really good.

Samsungs stupid wireless soundconnect only supports 2.1 so if your soundbar has a centre channel or rear speakers you will need to use either hdmi or optical to get 5.1 audio working properly.
