In that case I suggest you read the T&Cs from the store you are looking to purchase from in future because I can assure you that they are not obligated to give you a refund as the first port of action. They are obligated to sort out a problem which they have tried to do with alternate means to a refund.
They offered to exchange your faulty product with a like replacement once stock arrives, it wasn't a debate. It's not their fault that you've not done your research on the associated problems and now wish for something completely different. Edit - Actually all this is down to the fact that you never wanted the replacement which is why my comments about you taking it home not being difficult are being washed over because that would mean you'd have the same replacement for a GV you were never happy with.
