I have lowered brightness in Nvidia control panel to 35%, the brightness on the monitor is on 75 though.
same here i found adjusting the brightness with amd ccc better than adjusting the monitor

Samsung UK sold a batch last Thursday for list price - Skarpanis clocked a nifty 15% off coupon (now expired) that you could apply on their site = £670 (thanks!). I doubt very much you'll be seeing a deal like that anytime soon. (will delete this if against the rules)
@eggcup - why are you using that method??
Damn that was cheap
For anyone looking to save a few quid I notice OCUK have several on B Grade for £660

Personally, with a monitor this expensive I'd want more than 90 days warranty but some might prefer the saving.
Believe you will not be disappointedSo tempted by this, I just want official figures on the response time! Love my 29um65 but want better blacks/contrast ratio, 3440x1440 res. and much better motion clarity.
Also having the same thoughts about 21.9 g/free sync 1440, I think it will be quite a while until we see one for <£900....
I am going to hold out for TFTcentral and/or pcmonitors.info reviews before doing anything.
Also going to wait for it to be £700 or less first... which I suspect will happen given the price of the LG 34um95 reduced drastically after a few months.
That is B-grade ones though, they only come with 90 day warranty
