I didn't mean ONLY Samsung. There will be a superior curved monitor to this one available within the year from another manufactuer, that's as safe a bet as you can make.

I was speaking specifically about Samsung in relation to their statement about nine monitors by the end of the year. Of course others will attempt to release competing / superior monitors. We already know the Acer exists just not exactly what it offers in detail - that's clearly going to impact the market in some way.

Great news, well I'll await delivery. Exciting. I just saw the Dell offer go up for £100 less on here, but I still think I've made the right decision with the Samsung.

I just need to test with the Xbox One and fingers crossed it works ok for bluray playback.
 
Mine has shipped! Excited now. I'm moving up from a Benq 24", so this will be a huge step for video editing, gaming and movies.

Fast charging? never heard of that, sounds good!
 
Im dying to read a review but I just cant find any :(

Coming from that AOC 21:9 monitor, I cant bare another back light bleeding issue.

Am I right in thinking these monitors have no issue with that?

I'm the same, the BENQ I have is cloudy and rubbish with backlight bleed so it's gone to my bro :D

I'm sat here mashing F5 on the delivery dispatch screen and working from home tomorrow to receive it. I might wire up the doorbell to another bell in the toilet just in case
 
Samsung seem to be taking forever to provide review samples and then when the likes of badass and pcm2 get them, it will take a few weeks/months (?) to review them :(
 
OMG, its hard to describe how big this monitor is until its sat in front of you.....

Not impressed with the 2 pin plug, thought OcUk had sent me an £800 Shaver.... Oh and the Legenday customer support is a bit wanting, instead of answering the calls in the queue they just drop the lines at 5:30 regardless of how long you have been on hold........

The monitor is well nice though so thats all good.

have you checked the box, i got 2 pin and 3 pin plugs
