I find the same, I have to stop myself taking it to bed now or I end up watching back to back American Dad or Family Guy until about 4 in the morning. :(

EDIT: If you're using Firefox, check out the NoSquint plugin, it allows you to zoom out on certain websites, so on here I have it set to 85%, but you can also adjust the text zoom, so on another forum I have it set to 75% but the text zoom to 130%, it's really useful! Also check out Dropbox for syncing files, great for me as I'm constantly changing computers and often working on both at the same time.

Also check out the Xmarks plugin for FireFox, it syncs your FireFox bookmarks on any computer you install the plugin on.

argh!!!!!

i wondered if anyone uses an nc10 with xp to conect to a sonyericsson phone?

for some god unknown reason its just not behaving and it refuses point blank to conect to the phone to use its data conection it just tells me it cant conect to the phone but it doesnt even try. have no problems with the same set up with my vista running dell

help its killing me as tehering is a major reason for having a netbook
 
also, just bought one. its charging now

settled on the black

going to put win7 on it. i assume i can do this via a external hard drive?

Yeah, just extract the ISO to the root of a USB disk and boot off it. Some memory sticks don't like booting so it may be hit and miss, I used a 2.5" USB hard disk.
 
i cant get it to boot off of my usb HD or usb memroy stick

do i need to do anything else to make it bootable? other than to extact the win7 files to it?

Just put WIndows 7 on the NC10.

How in the hell do you turn the brightness up?

Any way to get FN + Up arrow working again?

How did you get the samsung programs back on? I put everything on the CD onto a USB but the installer wont seem to work,
 
You need to download the Display Manager software linked earlier on in this thread to get FN keys working.
 
You only need samsung easy display manager on Windows 7, the other tools are not much use, everything else works out of the box. The play camera software can be useful if you want to snap a picture but there is plenty of other software as well.
 
anyone chucked a 32GB SDHC card in theirs? i figure it would be better for the battery to have vids etc on there and play off that? the hard drive could go idle then. plus you can get one for £25 now

I've used a 16GB on mine but just for general storage. If you could point us in the direction of where you can get a 32GB SDHC for £25 that would be a bargain and a half. A quick search on google comes up double that and more.
