Samsung NC10

Yeah I did see that and it had a great review, but then I saw you can get an N120, N130 and N140. I don't see a great difference between them so then I go round in circles!
 
wow 54 pages, i'm just got the nc10 (the g/f is already calling it Sammy) and can someone please give me a brief summary of all these pages(!)

also the wifi is temperamental it doesn't stay connected, have updated the drivers etc but still poor. We have a imac in front room that always stays connected and the Wii.

never had probs with mine tbh. works at home and in work

forgot to say, on win7, didn't leave xp on there long
 
So I caved and went for the N110 and gosh it is gorgeous, I guess talking about it in this thread is OK as it's almost identical to the NC10. :p

Got 7 and it's very snappy, boots nice and quick! Just need to start installing stuff to it now pretty much got a blank 7 install on there atm.

Edit: The thing looks way smaller in the flesh than it comes across in pictures too.
 
Where are you guys still getting Windows 7 from. I'm really keen to try a copy on my NC10 even if it is just a 90 day demo, but can't find one anywhere. Can anyone post links to a RTM or RC version? Thanks

You can just download it from a torrent can't you? I mean there's an enterprise version on torrents/newsgroups, downloading that and only using the 90 day trial is legal ain't it?

I swear you can download it directly from Microsoft though.

Getting a laptop tomorrow for when I am at my girlfriends. N110 or an EEE PC 1005? Need one with the best battery/spec possible. It is < £300 budget from that place that Stop hinting about competitors, this is not the first time i have had to warn you!
 
ha! mods on fire tonight mate be carefull im debating on wether to send my n510 back tbh and buy another nc10, for the price they cant be beaten, best IT toy ive bought and regret selling it now :(

Dunno when you last warned me. Havent posted for a while. Would be nice to get an e-mail warning as I don't always check my posts, I thought it was ok to not directly mention them as other people have done what I have before with no editing being done.

@topic - EEE PC or n110?

How long does your NC10 take to boot using WIndows 7?

I guess how long till you get to the password screen.

Post times and RAM! looking to do a comparison...
 
got a problem with my nc10, my FN button keeps stopping working but then it works if i hit sleep. strange.
is there any newer drivers for win7 as mine are about 6 months old now.

win 7 aint released yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so no bloody drivers lol
