Which ones? I know you can't toggle them instantly, there seems to be a wait from turning something on before you can turn it off. I know at first Kaspersky didnt like any of the Samsung apps and denied them any rights, but have had to set them as trusted and seems ok now.

well pretty much most of them, i can toggle between speed modes but it wont let me go to max performance, and i can toggle to sleep mode and numbers lock. but all the others dont work like volume and brightness etc none of them work,ive left it and also ive not got any av or firewall on there at the mo.

Hmm, worrying. They all seem ok here apart from that I cant get the max speed either but then I have set my battery manager to max battery life so there may be a link. Not sure.
Are you using Fn with arrow keys for brightness and volume?
Dont know what use or if they were newer but I downloaded and reinstalled the Samsung apps from the website.

Heres a picture of the 2 blotches on my screen, they look worse in real life as theres a slight halo above each of them as well. Not massive damage but enough to be annoying in something i just paid £300 for.

My NC10 has exactly the same blotches in the same location as yours. Maybe it's a faulty batch. It's definitely most visible when the brightness is turned right down but is irritating none the less.

edit: all sorted i reinstalled magic keyboard and still nothing then i looked at what i had uninstalled and so i tried easy display manager and its sorted it.

I've decided to return it and get a replacement. I'm usually one to just grin and bear it but when I bought my PSP it had a dead pixel. I didn't return it and it's bugged me ever since.

Guys managed to find it for 272 delivered (quidco included). Has anyone managed to get a refund for their Windows XP license as I intend putting a Linux distro on it. I don't see why I have to pay for an XP license when I won't be using it.

I would have accepted a dead pixel, one or 2 dont bother me...but 2 big dark patches was kicking the arse out of it.

Just picked it up

Keyboard size is good, getting used to it now.
