Samsung NC10

dont have any issues here...have transferred fairly large files between, havn't tried wireless internet yet as dont want to be raped by orange for data usage charges!!

my phone is a n95 btw
 
Pairs ok. When connecting to the mobile as a network access point it does for less than 10 seconds and then disconnects. Tried a USB bluetooth dongle I have and works fine in the desktop - mobile, same again. Very disappointed. It's going back.
 
Woot! Mine arrived an hour ago so I took some photos and lobbed them onto Flickr. I can't believe how small and light the NC10 is - pretty glad I opted for this over a smaller Eepc 901 now.

Are you sure you have the correct settings in the mobile phones PC suit?

With nokia it defaults to the first connection settings in the list, 3 australia which would be great if you are in australia using 3 :confused:
 
I hate technology. If I connect from the fone to the NC10 as a headset first, then connect from the NC10 to the fone as a network access point, it stays connected. Very odd. I can disconnect the headset connection from the NC10 and it stays live that way.

Feeling much older but much happier!
 
Anyone else have a problem with not being able to out put 1680x1050 signal? Tried it on two monitors and it hasn't worked, starting to think it may be the VGA cable though.
 
so i installed vista on my sammy few days ago and everything worked, but i used networking to run dvd from main pc, im about to install my new hdd(tomo as long it arrives) which means im gonna have no os so i need to install, but how can i do that?
ive read about using an external hdd to boot which the sammy allows but how do i actually do that, is it as simple as copy files to hdd and boot or do i need to do something special ?
 
Does anyone knows whether this comes with a USB dvd drive or something similar? Could do with installing some stuff from disc?

Sorry if this has been mentioned before didnt fancy trawling through all the pages looking for it.

no it doesnt come with usb dvd drive, would solve problem im having, but if you set up networking with main pc and share dvd drive can stick disc in main and access from sammy.
i done this and installed vista but need usb dvd for when i stick in new hdd so wont be able to access network.

you can install vista from a pen drive, installs really fast as well...
