At 3 mins 40 sec it seems (and i dont speak italian) to be saying there is a slot for a sim card, and space for the 3g module. Could this be for the NC11?

I was thinking that built in 3g would be nice, but thinking about it, it has bluetooth so I could connect my "3" mobile to it that way.

"3" on PAYG have very comprtitive data rates and dont seem to mind it being used as a modem, so long as you dont take the piddle with it.

hmm i didnt know they were doing them, but as it goes their saying estimated date is the 6/11/08
hope ocuk gets them before that.
 
Looks like you have to remove the whole back panel to install a new hard drive - 12 screws. Looks simple enough!

I'm going to wait and have a play on one at purple shirt land. They also do insurance so if i break it while on the train or at uni...they will sort it for me.
Unfortunate that OcUK don't do laptop insurance.

Yeh but at a price :)

You can get insurance with a third party that will be cheaper than purple shirt land plus superior cover anyway!

Can you confirm that it comes with a protective case/sleeve?

Seen pictures showing one but specifications do not mention of it.
 
This laptop seems to have been highly anticipated, I would have thought there would have been more in-depth reviews around on the internet. The only one I can find is the one on laptopmag, which was posted earlier
