Samsung NC10

Thanks, want it right now but i can see probably not gonna use it as much as prefer PC when at home.

The stock pouch is very good at scratch protecting. It's suede :)

Oh well, that save me a bit to get more RAM then

I got to stay out of this thread....everytime i see a pic i want it again !

C'mon, you know you want to :p:D

It is physically one piece of plastic, just you can click the left or right side of it ;)

Thanks, is it quite flimsy?

Not flimsy no, tap it and it feels like one solid bar yet is flexible at the ends to allow you to be able to press in both buttons with major effort.

I am amazed with my new NC10, I really didnt think it would live up to it's battery claims, but it really does - finally a laptop I can take to work without the lead :)

I got a protective cover with memory foam interior - seems like a nice piece of kit and it fits my NC10 perfectly - cost me £12 - and it will definitely give more protection compared to what's in there at the moment.

I just need to get rid of all that McAfee rubbish - they don't half infect your system when its installed.

Ooh where did you get that case dude?

Just got one of these today, didn't really like it. It all felt very cramped, wouldn't play YouTube HD videos and the mousepad feels a bit cheap and is very small.

Would I be okay to return it under the DSR even though I've accepted the XP license etc?

Does anyone know if it would be possible to get output DTS/DD via any of the outputs?

I'm using an old Videologic Digitheatre DTS (has coax and optical, which im guessing are a no-no, unless i get a separate card), but there's also analogue.... but would i still be able to get DD/DTS out of it?

Thanks!

Is it worth if i change the hdd to 320gb and put Vista Ultimate? As i have Vista Ultimate 32bit here. Will it void warranty to change hdd and put different OS?

Would doubt it would void the Warranty, there are no stickers or warnings and assuming you put the original Hard Drive back in I can't see how they would know if you then made a Warranty claim.

has any one tried HD 1080 playback on these and is it possible? (not jumpy?)

I know this is asking a little much, but you never know!

720p is beyond the res anyway and is jumpy so 1080p is nowhere near possible. 480P at best is possible.
