Samsung NC10

I have a few questions I am hoping may get answered:

How are you lot cleaning your NC10 lids?

How do I make it so the dimmer does not apply to media player - I know there is the option for exceptions but how do I actually do it.

Finally, using IPOD headphones I find the volume to be rather low; are the IPOD headphones just bad and can anyone recommend headphones that will give better sound (only looking to spend 30 if possible).

THanks so much

I'm surprised your iPod phones volume is low, my Sennheiser HD555 kick out plenty of sound even half way it's loud.

To clean the lid I keep a lens cleaning cloth in the pouch which sorts that out. I have no idea what you mean by dimmer though! I have dynamic dimming turned off and always use it on bar 2 manually (FN+ARROW UP/DOWN).

.mkv x264 over wireless, using CoreAVC and Media Player Classic. I've only tried TV programs and not movies though, so I don't know if that affects it much.

Hmm coreavc may be why then, I suppose quality doesn't matter on a 10.2" screen but coreavc on my 24" had worse image quality compared to divx-hd and ffdshow/qt-lite

My first netbook and i think it is a beauty.

As i browse the internet most of the day and game for a few hours only at night, i can leave my power-hungry pc turned off. My housemates will be pleased next electricity bill:)

1. Go into battery manager

2. Options -> LCD auto dimming -> Register excluded programs (and search for your media player executable)

I am very tempted by the higher capacity battery really. £75 but if I can sell the current battery then the price evens out for the extra few hours gained!

Nah, probably not gonna use it for hd anyway. The reason i asked because NC10 cost around £300 and C2D laptop cost around another £100 already included optical drive.
