Morning, swapped from HDMI to dp and changed the DP cable with one I bought on the rainforest, the monitor arm is the Bewiser s1020 which is very sturdy and would highly recommend,
Hi I have the the Ergotron HX heavy-duty too and I agree why have Ergotron not updated the heavy duty version, there is a few newer DP cables that do work, I've preordered a DP80 but still to be released, try looking for a DP54 certified cable as that's the best I could findmorning mate, thanks really appreciate it. Unfortunately my table is glass and I don't think I can use the mount on table, I need a wall mountable arm that can take the monitor weight and the only one is the ergotron HX wall mount but this mounts pivot does not support the monitor well unless I jam the pivot, I think is ridiculous they have not provided an update for this arm yet, ergotron have just forgotten all the current customers.
I also need to replace my DP cable as the Samsung one is way too short. Only Issue is that I have read some DP cables don't work if they are over a certain length with this monitor. So I have to get experimenting by buying a cable and hoping it work if not onto the next one.

It's a new arm. I looked into it and there's no way to adapt the existing arm. You have to buy the new version which is 350 to 450
Yeah they cite due to the design of the new arm there's no way to make a pivot for the existing arm. However if you want a good arm for the 57 go for the secret labs heavy duty one at 300 pounds which is designed to hold this 57
Probably a monitor arm and the most flush ie 3 inch from wall is the ULTRARMIs there a bracket/clamp that doesn't make the monitor stick out further than if it was on the stand?

You can buy metal support top and bottom plates from the rainforest that work well
Would also be very interested to know how well this works. Ideally during the day I’d run two computers side by side then be able to use another in the evenings.Hi all, is anyone running two computers into this monitor with split screen, was searching for an answer but thought better ask the OC, As getting conflicting info,
I only regretted the matte coating, so if you're fine with that you'll be very happy with the monitor. Main reason I returned it when I used it as matte coating was too aggressive in general usage for my liking. For games it was amazing.Has anyone bought one of these and regretted it? I’m looking at an ultra wide upgrade (currently for an 35”) and think my pc might struggle with being able to run the 2x4K. I’ve got a ryzen 9 and a 4700 ti Super. I also honestly wonder if it would just be too big. Due to limitations of my office I’ve got a desk depth of 80cm, would this or the 49” just be too big? 2x4K would be more screen estate than I’ve ever had but I’m used to multiple monitors and would ideally get something with a kvm built in as I run multiple machines.
Light gaming and work usage.. development and databases.
Sorry appreciate its not easy to explain in text but what do you mean by "too aggressive"? Given that my use case will be ~80% development.I only regretted the matte coating, so if you're fine with that you'll be very happy with the monitor. 160x80 cm is my desk so you're fine in terms of desk depth as well.
For my tastes on a white background only, everything looked too grey and smeary, usually why I don't like matte coatings on displays, but other people have had no issue with it,Sorry appreciate its not easy to explain in text but what do you mean by "too aggressive"? for me the matt coating is just fine and prefer matt coating if I am using it as a monitor for work. If its for development first then you would love the monitor, would have preferred it a little taller but still its much better than the 49" version.Has anyone bought one of these and regretted it?
