Going from what Gibbo said in an earlier post i wasnt expecting to see the asus boards for sale until all the swap outs had been made.

Hopefully i will be allowed to take my board back tomorrow and get the Pro. Either refund and repurchase or just pay the difference :) Ive sent a webnote so fingers crossed :)

As others have mentioned other e/retailers have them in stock. I've just spotted a retailer in Portsmouth who will have replacement B3 Gigabyte boards tomorrow.

This is food for thought!

I'm gonna keep my asus deluxe board until the z68's come out and then get a refund and with the money buy an asus z68. May aswell as this is not affecting me at the moment and if I wait for z68 its reported to have better overclocking capabilities and you can use the graphics chip and quick ync aswell.
#They've already started production of the z68 chipsets so it won't be long. May aswell get some good out of this. :)

I can buy the z68 board first aswell and then get a refund when it comes so I'm not without a board.

That is when most retailors are getting them, I would be surprised if OcUK do not have stock tomorrow.

If that is indeed the case, I would have expected a mail from OcUK regarding an exchange. If they are selling before exchanging existing customers boards, in my eyes, this is a poor show and i do hope that isn't the case.

I've played the waiting game so far but if there is no communication and the boards can be easliy picked up instores tomorrow, OcUK will being having my UD4 back for a full refund.

I just hope that current owners are not taken for a ride here. Of course, OcUK could be 'Driven' by a third party here :)

Has that been confirmed? I thought to do this you would have to make the onboard graphics the primary display adaptor and switch the monitor cable to the onboard graphics.

Theres a new program out/coming out by the makers of the lucid chip that will allow the use of both a sandy b graphics chip and a ati/nvidia gpu so you can play a game whilst using quick sync to encode etc in the background.
Can't remeber the name though so you may have to google.:)

Edit: the app is called VIRTU by lucid.

Only Asus on the OcUk site, they are listed elsewhere though.

I've asked OcUk via the support forum when they will have Gigabyte Boards and how long we (existing customer) will be expected to wait - which i believe is a fair question seeing as B3 boards can now be purchased.

We are talking about Gigabyte P67, where are you seeing those?

Sorry... I had missed out one crucial post, and thought we were still talking about the Asus!

Not wishing to **** off the 'oposition', but a certain reseller is taking pre-orders for Asus micro-ATX B3 motherboards (due next week) at a whopping 25% higher than the price they were charging for them three weeks ago... and I have the Invoice to prove it!

How can you get a refund when by the time you get the z68 board it will be way over 30 days?
