Are the tasks (data backup) that you backed up working when you reinstall if not and theres next to no tasks just reinstall theres no shortage of gpu units. At least if you reinstall today while tehres plenty of work it would be better than it happenning monday when you'll be fighting like cat and dog before the outage.
On a side note hope you did not pay over the odds for your w7, how you finding it?
 
Afterburner noob question :p

when using msi afterburner and you push an overclock too far and the card reverts back to 2D clock speed 400Mhz - what's the quickest way to get the card to come back so that you can try again. If I try to reset, the core stays at 400Mhz, the only way that I have found is to reboot the box - is there a quicker way??
 
Ooooh, looks like the Americans have woken up to the fact that its a free for all - all the bandwidth is gone!!!! Starting to get lots of Project Backoffs now :(

Still, managed to grab a couple of shed-loads worth whilst her going was good!

No, its back again :D This is like it used to be. Wonder why the policy change? - Gonna need a bigger backup HDD!!!!

Mine isn't growing as fast it should. I did notice that BOINC preferences had reverted to the defaults, which accounted for a bit for me. :rolleyes:

It may be to do with the way the seem to be implementing the Credit New system, bit by stealthy bit. Also, don't forget that even with things running smoothly, it can take up to 6 weeks from implementation for new hardware to hit its top performance - and that's with everything going really smoothly. If your hardware is fully utilised, fed with work and in use as much as it can be - you an do no more.

Got 2 tasks on the 470 now but messed up my CPU part so don't know which one to use as the Seti forums recommend is not downloading :(

This one is it dead or something :confused: AK_v8b_win_SSSE3x.exe

Plus I have had enough of editing for now my brain literally hurts :( and my GTX260 is still idle :(
