:D Musical cells, i'm not even going to look it will give me a headache.

Well i must admit i've bought enough hardware since i joined in feb/march to feel qualified in making a complaint to ocuk.

I won't bore everyone with the details but most of you have been witness to my disasters and i think enough is enough, am tired of paying full whack for things and not getting what i pay for.
It started with my first order and multiple instances of, marked cases, dodgy ssd, 6 pics to show the extent of the last case hassle. Ok i must admit i did fair better this time, 1 out of 2 ramp 3 boards do work.

Theres a known issue with insufficient compound on the chipsets giving a i.o.h error (temperatures rocket to 99 degrees within a minute of boot upthen auto shutdown).

A lot of people like myself with the second board dont want to get caught in an endless rma loop. Demand seems to exceed supply so there will be a wait for a replacement, there again some people have been removing the heat pipe assembly and appling a better thermal paste, but there in lies the problem - warranty would be void instantly.
Have made the call and will be calling back monday afraid i am not going to let it rest. So by all means you can all jump on me for being a whinger but how am i supposed to carry on contributing to the team when i upgrade or try to better myself if i get problems like this??
After the learning curve i was hoping it would be a little bit more relaxed but i keep getting held back by what seems to be in most cases either poor quality control as in marked/damaged goods, or hardware faults that are not of my own making.
Hopefully there will be some management about monday and spie might be around fingers crossed something good comes from this and not more game vouchers :mad::mad:

I'm still waiting on my Hybrid RMA - over 4 weeks now.....

The last two - 2 x 250gb 2.5" hdds & Blaze Wireless Desktop - I just got a full refund.

Also, my review of the Blaze Wireless desktop has not been published (as of yet).

However, I will continue to use OcUK as my principal supplier. The majority of the stuff I have ordered has been faultless and the service second to none. Any issues I have had, OcUK have done thier best to resolve as quickly as possible.

Look at this way.....its a lot of zero's and what do they all add upto at the end of the day.....yup you got it zero, oh noes! phase 2 of sleep deprivation my logic circuits are malfunctioning :D

Well Mr Tbag, that's a whole lot of effort for, well, errrrr nothing!!!!! You've moved beyond mega numbers, and on into giga numbers!!!! Salut :).

I have no hope of keeping up with the GPU-assisted crowd, but it'll be interesting to see what happens overnight with my temporary wingmen on the case (going from 11 active cores to 31 has got to do something :D)

Mr TBag, I do believe we need to see some pictures of your machinery in the gallery - your old images have vanished to be replaced by, errr, nothing actually. :)

Mr Berserker sah do you mind me asking, would you not consider gpu's at all or do the cpu cores - 31!!! give you better results on other projects?

Stop showing me new hardware, Aggghhh :p

:D It would be fine if it was working....all in good time i suppose :)

lol - thats just too funny toxic :D

Well i've voided the warranty now, so going to have a damned good sleep then set about resetting the heatsinks and see what happens, this is what i meant by innadequate thermal paste applications on this thing. Notice the abundance of high quality thermal paste on the southbridge
