No thats fine, nice steady blue light
it could be a mobo slot problem, but to be honest Id rather it was the card, as the mobo was an ebay job and I can't afford to replace that.
Other than move things around Im not that sure what else I can do, see what happens tomorrow I s'pose..

You could take all the cards out, and just add them in 1 by bone 'till it went ****. Hopefully, by that time, you would have at least one card that works in one slot. Then, you could take all the cards back out, and then the suspect card in the known good slot......

cpartcert1.php

Woo! :D

Long way to go to catch you guys :o

And I can't even crunch atm as i've finished all the WU's it downloaded and now the servers are down for maintenance :(

You'd think it'd send you a whole bunch the day before to keep you going.

Congrats. :D Unfortunately, getting work is out responsibility!!!! ;)

I know I have 2 good slots already as I have two working cards, so that is my starting point, put the dodgy card in one of them and see what happens

Of course, the tricky thing is ruling out the PSU! I just wish there was a way for use mere mortals to interrogate them with some software.....

Phew i hope it turns out to be something simple or easily put right Mr Edge :(

Gtx 465 my azz, you pay £10 for guaranteed next day courier delivery and i'm sat twiddling my thumbs from 7.00am to 8pm tonight and yeah you guessed it they said they sent it received dispatch note what not, DPD can't find it.
When the heck am i going to start getting a full and proper service.
I came within a hairs breadth of flogging the b...lot today, tried to complain just the usual "oh well we send thousands of parcels a week" and "only have probs with approx 2% of orders".
Be curious to see what the odds are of every single order i have ever made with ocuk bar one (last week 2 gpu came on time no probs) having a problem.
"Is Spie in" no he's chilling in Mexico....how awfully b....y nice for him.

Walk away and forget about it I have had to forget about my Escort after it still isn't on the road I almost got the forklift a dropped a shipping container on it out of pure frustration with it after 9 months of work on it and to be constantly let down by it :(, had a bad weekend just about getting over it now :(

Yeah i know your right, but i get really fed up when i know i am in the right and i am not being unreasonable, wish i could have walked away but when your not given a time for delivery your chained to the towers for 13hours :(

Well it can't get any worse can it  I hope not I can't take much more with everything falling to pieces around me getting so down with it things are getting broken :( My rig is the only thing to work solidly for ages never had something so good and stable :)

Yeah well you did go through a bad streak with it so it's paying you back by working properly :)
Have "broken" a few things in my time, but if i feel the need i go scouting through my cheap and nasty boxes and make sure its not worth more than a fiver first :)

 Please....no more..no more thats bad looking at it but to get that annoyed at something, well i understand, might be an idea to concentrate your anger on something like a..mm..errrr a tree!:)

Blimey... I think you two should be spending your money on anger-management courses instead of new hardware! :D

It is frustrating though when things don't work as you expect them to. Thankfully this rig of mine has never had any problems except for the very occasional random reboot (which is annoying, but it happens so infrequently that I tend to be able to just ignore it, putting it down to it being a bit of a grumpy bugger at times... think it might have picked that character trait up from me actually).

 :eek: ipod small sleek n cute Marine your a b...y superstar, i just remembered chucking wrapping and boxes away yesterday and didn't take out my ssd.....saved from the garbage man....i undoubtedly owe you one for that.....i am sweating profusely now hells bells

Lots of bubble-wrap helps. Pop, pop, pop... :)

Got home to a dead PC in the living room (on, but seemingly had forgotten how to read its hard disks). Seems to have come back OK after a BSOD or two on the way. Let's hope it stays that way. I can't afford that going wrong.
