Voted Amtrak.

Our flat is hidden away in the centre of Peterhead, a long way from Stoke, not on any major route and not easy to find but they got my stuff here two and a half days after it was ordered.

Have had no real problems with Citylink but they always seem to take about 5 days to get here.

Stan :)

Amtrak:)

I know it will differ from depot to depot but citylink have never delivered next day for me & each time have had to pick it up myself & not once have they left a card

I've never really had any problems with Amtrak, but I have more experience with City Link and the delivery to and from our offices City Link always seem that little bit more friendly and helpful - not that that is necessarily the most important aspect of a courrier service. I have voted for the company that I know better. Though obviously this is based on London depots.

I have ordered five times with OcUK and three out of the five times Amtrak have not been able to delivery my goods on the day it was meant to. First time they said no one was in the house, I was sat on the sofa all day and no card was left.

The 2nd time I got the product delivered to work so they could not pull the "no one was home" trick, as there is the secretary there from 8am to 6pm, at 5 I phoned them to ask where my parcel was and they asked the usual gubbins and went away for two mins, could hear a football being kicked in the background, he came back and said "That van broke down earlier and is in the depot, can you come and collect?" - So I went down and found them playing football against the depot wall, asked for my parcel and waited 10 mins while they looked in the back, he said wait five mins and the van with my parcel on will be back....... Didnt the van break down?

Anyway, to cut a long story short, use City Link :)

I've had no end of problems with CityLink and a few issues with Amtrak.

We send about 50 items per day, and have used pretty much all couriers including :
UPS, CityLink, BusinessPost , Interlink, DHL and more.

The best out of the all was definetely UPS, an excellent courier company in my opinion. Never had any problems with delayed parcels to any part of the world!

I don't know how much OcUK are paying, but UPS do some pretty good rates with which they could send for example a 20kg case for about 5-6 quid. (Assuming a 70%+ discount from their standard rates)

What's wrong with Royal Mail?? I've used them for many other deliveries, all have been perfectly on time and in perfect condition. When i've not been in, they've been taken to the depot, and a note left for me. I dont see what more anyone could wish for?

Cost, £19 it cost me to post a mb special delivery on monday :(

Edit as i will get flamed at.

Im not going to vote as i prefer Royal mail as they are the ebst, realy fast, nver lost or damaged anything, always on time, and come at 8:30am so jsut before i leave for school.
Please add Royal mail to the option

As fox said. One courier in one place can be great, and another rubbish, but in another area it can be the other way round.

I voted City Link, because around here they are excellent.

City Link as they generally deliver earlier in the day than Amtrak, but that's obviously entirely down to area, therefore assuming the prices would be equal, I've voted CityLink. In the case where one was cheaper than the other, I'd go with the cheaper option as I've never had a problem with either :)
