Show us your kitty cats

The softpaws work really really well. We did try to keep the cats claws trimmed and thus not need them. However one of our sphynx cats, like yours, loves to "dig" into carpets, he also loves to attack sofas. Even though we have tried to encourage him to use the scratch posts it is no good as he refuses to use them. The other sphynx splits his clawing about 50/50 between the scratch post and the furniture.

Our big grey furry cat scratches the wallpaper.

The two sphynx cats have grown up with each other from birth and the big grey one was by himself, being the first, for a couple of years and he still clawed the wallpaper then. Each of them has been neutered. All three get on with each other very very well, sleeping together etc etc.

But with the softpaws fitted all if these actions continue but without the consequences of causing any damage. They are easy to fit, once you have used the size chart to determine the ones you need. They come with extra glue. You have to trip the claw before attaching and you then have to monitor the cat to make sure if they are on the claw for too long they can "bend" around and press into the pad, this happens very very rarely but then you just trim them off. Just a point as our cats have had them on for years they do not create a fuss when putting them on. My wife has them all prepared first, with glue inside of them and the cats claws trimmed, and so minimising the time that the cat is being held whilst they are applied.
What I do is to order them from ebay...

or here...

We used to order them from the USA before the other two option became available but you have to be careful with customs charges if you order too many when ordering from there.

You know, out of all the cats I've seen in this thread, even though I'm a great lover of the good looking pedigree cats, the one cat that strikes me is:

[MG]http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/1997/62983044.jpg[/IMG]

If he is a dominant cat, then it would be fascinating to see how he gets on with my Egyptian Mau, Reflex, who is ridiculously dominating when he first meets a new cat, but calms down once dominance has been established.

My Bengal would definitely be scared of the cat shown in the pic and may take a while to come to terms with his arrival, despite Mr Bengal being a large/heavy cat.

would definetly be interesting to see how he got on with other dominant cats. our existing moggys are scaredy cats as it is and a lot younger than him. they basically just let him take over without even trying to put up a fight. the mother cat used to hide in the gap between top of a kitchen unit and the roof as soon as she heard the door to the house from the conservatory open:p:(. wasnt fair on our exsisting cats in the end which is why the one in picture and his sister got took to live at my mums house

its a real shame that hes so wary of humans too as when he dares come over to people hes a really nice cat. we guess they where abused because theyre both terrified of teenagers and his smaller sister is always on edge around adults too

took me ages to get used to his face! seems to be like marmite amongst people who see him. some say hes stunning and some including me think hes ugly as sin :p you do get used to it though

This is our cat cookie who appeared in our garden last year. We originally contacted the local cats protection league and then the RSPCA to come and collect her as, at the time, we had a cat. However the CPL were full and the lady who contacted us from the RSPCA informed us she could collect the cat but would, more than likely just set her loose in the wild again. So she is now ours!!

Here she is about 4 days after arriving :

and this was earlier this year... she has no shame :D

Cute as a button.

That cat is actually being really aggressive. The noise is a snarl and that's why the other cat is acting sub-dominant. If the cat grows up and still does that then it would probably have a swipe at the camera to defend it's food.
