Show us your kitty cats

What happened to this, FoxEye?

OK. Time for a reality check for me. If I bring a cat into a home where the only person available for 8 hours of the day actually hates cats, that's probably not going to do the cat any good. I don't know if you agree or disagree with that. I don't think the cat will grow on her, it's basically a pathological condition.

As much as I'd love to have a little furball, if the honest answer is that it would be unfair to the cat, then I need to put this plan on ice. It will be sad for me, but I don't want to do anything that could be cruel to the cat. And although Mum agreed to it, she isn't looking forward to it.

Reality, you're such a *****.

I don't think the biggest problem is that your mum doesn't like cats, I think it's that you're flakier than pastry.

You know how sometimes situations are fluid and you have to react to changing conditions? Yeah, this is one of those times. Suffice to say, while I don't feel the need to justify anything I do to you, there is a good reason why the above no longer holds true.

And given that I've just spent over £100 on cat stuff, with more to come, this time I'm going to see it through. In fact my total spend will be close to £1000, including Mr Pusspuss.

Those toes are asking to be tickled. :p
Just the tufty bits between the pad and the toes.

From the reviews I read elsewhere, feeders that have flip top lids are either rubbish at staying closed and keeping the cats out or rubbish at opening at all! I'm tempted by the Andrew James 4 day feeder which has a rotating top but I just wanted to find out if there were any alternatives. That rotating one in your link is somewhat more expensive...

meet "lewis" or "Jaws" or both

he is ten weeks old maybe 11 and terribly small but perfectly healthy vet said he should be a kilo at this point but oh well a little way to go.

right but 6 months where the owner of the house doesn't like or want cats then you're going to be house hunting for rented/possibly shared accommodation with a cat in tow?

what happens if you cant find a place that will take pets?

There are plenty of places that will allow pets. It's not like it's a one-in-a-million chance. Stop being needlessly negative. I'm getting le chat and that is that :p

She does this pretty much everytime I go to sit down and play a game...

To those with pedigree cats: how far did you have to travel to get them?

There's more Bengal kittens for sale near me than I can count, but for anything Asian/Oriental I'm seeing nothing within 300 miles.

I'm finding it really odd the number of people who don't close their websites when they stop breeding. Or at the very least put a notice up to say they're retired. Also people who leave adverts alive when they've sold everything. Takes minutes to take an old ad offline, or put a notice on your website that you've retired.

It puzzles me why this doesn't happen, because these guys must get a ton of phone calls that they no longer want. And it frustrates buyers too. At the moment it seems that at least 50-75% of websites belong to breeders who retired. Most of them still advertising litters they had the year they retired...

/end rant :p

There's plenty of Burmese nearer than 300 miles...
