OK, I'm fed up with buying those 25g freeze-dried chicken treats for £2.50 a pop. They don't last a week!

Zooplus did an offer once at £1 a pack, if I'd have known then how many I'd be buying would have snapped up their whole stock :p

Is there a cheaper way to buy cat-safe freeze dried chicken? I guess it's not the kind of thing you can get from your butcher.

what needs to be cat safe about the meat btw?

is it just the bones need to be gone or is it something with the meat?

like is it ok to pass the cat a bit of raw chicken breast when making dinner?

Indeed.
If you own an athletic/aggressive cat, then that behaviour is quite normal (though, in that video it was a little extreme).
The owner needs to know how to channel the cat's energy, by using toys and using that oven glove to wrestle with the cat. I wear a heavily padded shirt and thick glove, when I do wrestling games.

I would also suspect that that cat is a male, un-neutered animal which would explain the aggression. Even after the blue shirt guy ran out of the house, the cat chased him. The cat is basically playing "catch". My cats do this (not with a human, though - they chase each other).

After a hard play-session, my cats normally eat a lot of food, then go to sleep.

Why?

My cat does the same to me although not as intense and he doesn't scratch , just hangs on then play bites then shows his belly for a rub

But he doesn't run away hissing, looking for an exit. Meaning, they should knock it off.

My first cat was like that. It took us a while to realise that this play thing was actually ****ing him off. By the time I sussed it out, it was too late and he'd gone virtually feral.

Mostly that it should just be chicken and no added ingredients. A lot of stuff for human consumption is flavoured or has vitamins added, etc.

those fella's need knocking the **** out tbh

Stupid ****ers. Theres plenty of vids like that on yootoob.

Yeah, he's majorly ****ed off. If you don't want a cat then get them rehomed and don't taunt them to death, and thats assuming the best intentions of these two idiots.

I get the feeling that people don't do the most basic of research before buying pets :/ The ears pointed back is a dead give-away that the cat is not having fun/ playing.

And yeah, there's tons of videos on YT with people being dicks to animals whilst inevitably laughing their heads off.

Conversely, there also as many comments with people incorrectly calling "animal abuser!" on vids showing normal play behaviours.

In conclusion: YT is full of dicks :p
