Show us your kitty cats

I got a question for you cat people.

I don’t have my cat any more, he died in 2010, but we had him form about 94-2010.

All year round we used to put the cat outside when we went to bed. So the cat would have been outside form about 1am -7am. We had a shed with a bed in it, but it was still nippy when it was cold.

I used to try to leave the cat in at night, but more often than not around 3-5am he would start crying and want to go out side.

I even tried putting him out for 30mins so he can do his business then letting him back in but around 3-5am the incessant meowing would begin.

Do you put your cats out at night?

I had a cat flap. Sorted.

Beautiful cat, not too dissimilar to my little one  (love the top pic especially, looks like he/she had a lot of fun with that bag :D)

And didn't know boxes reduced stress in cats, though thinking on it now, it does seem to calm them :)

Handsome chap :D Oh yes, a bit of catnip and Floyd turns into a loon. He's not the sharpest tool anyway.. yes he is asleep with his face in an egg box..

No worse than his donut brother (from another mother) who loves getting in the sink or bath..

Oh ****

I'm a bit stuffed. The cattery just called, they can't take Tony in next Saturday as they have to have some emergency plumbing work done. :( - I go away for 2 weeks on the 21st!

There is one other cattery, but I don't like them. He was really quiet and not himself afterwards for a week :(

Facebook status for a house/cat sitter it is!

hugo will get in the sink and wait for you to turn the tap on. at which he'll stick his head under it and lick the water as it runs off his head :D

My two cats are exactly the same with sinks! They love to sit in them, and even more so when the tap has just been on!

Peanut and Sushi have been getting on amazingly this week since I got peanut. Sleeping beside each other, not being aggressive over toys or food etc. Amazing :)

Maybe you can find someone on this board who is local to you.
They could take care of your 2 cats for 2 weeks.

Another alternative, is to get your neighbour to come in everyday and feed the cats, clean the litter, etc. Pay them for their troubles.

I went for 3 days and I left my indoor cats alone. I asked my neighbour to come in every day and put out some dry food and change the water.

I had 3 big litter trays in operation.

I've only got one cat, but I put a Facebook post up and a couple of friends have offered to take him in so I've got options. :)

This is my Chester - he thinks he's human and half the street thing THEY should own him / want to adopt him. All the kids know him by name.
