Show us your kitty cats

Well it's slow progress with Bruce and Lola and Dave. They're mainly in a p*** with me. Although Lola is starting to want to get nearer him without hissing. Dave is just scared of him but also hisses.

I am hoping they will get there, Bruce isn't scared, is standing his ground, and trying to hiss back in the tiniest voice, but is also being just about submissive and not charging them.

I am hoping this is meaning they're going to get there. At least I hope so.

Any other tips or stuff I could try doing, im not forcing them to be together? it's just when Dave and/or Lola go in and out. Am shutting them in different bits of the flat when I go out, Dave and Lola can use the cat flap, Bruce is shut in the front room where the cat litter box is, and they've each got their own food in the different bits. :)
 
It can take quite a while... one of ours is particularly anti-social and it took her a good 3 months to settle in with the new kitten.

She still hisses at them frequently... but it's more to assert dominance and let them know that she is the boss.

Did you read up about introducing them properly? Might be worth doing as it can really reduce the time that they are like this.

Bruce is so desperate to get closer to both of them bless him. Fingers crossed they can sit together soon. Dave is still just scared of him. I'm not sure if there's anything he's not scared of in fact. :D

Dave's probably scared because he's expecting mum-catte to come along and beat him up.

I've got a 1080p monitor and they're fine.
 
This is why generally our bedrooms have drawers open and clothes all over the floor :rolleyes:

I love my cats and I enjoy photography... both together = me trying to improve my photography skills while taking photos of my babies.

After we lost one of our first pair of cats to a car, afterwards I realised we didn't have nearly enough photographs of him... so I pledged to take many photos often of the other guys & got a good camera to do it with. The camera happens to go with me elsewhere too, so he helped me rediscover a hobby I enjoy :)

The landscape ones shouldn't be more than 1000px tall, the portrait ones are 1280px tall... all within the forum guidelines... I'm careful about that :) Plus I'm spoiled by 1440p monitor ;)

to be fair some of your posts are a complete scroll fest if youre reading on a mobile. personally id say if youre posting more than 2 chuck the rest in a spoiler. or pick your best couple of shots, they start looking a bit samey otherwise (speaking as someone who was a part time photographer at one point ;) )
 
Another expensive month this :p Bought another two cat trees, one for the front porch one for the back porch. Thank goodness for Zooplus discount vouchers!

Would post some pics of her but the only camera I have is on an ancient Galaxy tab... does not do her justice! Well, here's an old one I might have posted before...
