We have a mainecoon type cat and trust me that thing would be on the floor in ten minutes flat.
He is a big cat and if he jumped from the top to the bed below to the left in the picture that thing would be over in seconds.

Another thing I don't get the centre of gravity on that, it seems all over the gaff.

i im,agine if the bottom two tube secons are ful lof sand/weight it would be fine

From the picture the base would need to made of lead, even the two lower tubes filled with sand would not cut it.

That looks to me like its going over unless anchored to the floor! :p

One of the last pics I took of our we kitty who was put to sleep during the week. Cancer had got the better of her and at this point she was quite weak and had lost interest in life. Fantastic wee cat and huge part of our family for this last 10 years. Our son who is only 8 was gutted at her going but thankfully we've plenty of pics and memories of the better times.

Year our 2 year old boys topple over their 3ft trees when on one. I'd want it bolted down or a concrete base :D

not really it doesn't hang out very far nearly all the overhands fall within the footprint of the baseplate and so offer near zero leverage for knocking it over.

the bed that sticks out to the left is balanced by the heavier enclosed space lower down that goes to the right

Sorry for your loss... stunning feeling with the pic :)

I'd have that printed and framed...

It was the loss of one of my babies and the lack of enough photos that pushed me towards photography as a hobby.

Thanks, I probably will get a frame for it, just put it up beside the computer here. That's the thing, it's only when something/somebody is gone that you wish you'd taken more pics, always nice to look back on.

Neither do our small ones but they still wipe it out when looning around.

Never nice losing a little furry buddy :(

Our cat tree stands about six foot high but the base is rather big and square. Then on top of that are a few mdf boxes to add further weight. There is no way my cats are pulling it over. The one above does look a little precarious for centre of gravity though.

precarious for centre of gravity not at all , to think my mainecoons are 8 months old and weigh around 7.5 kg , they can run up the tree with no problems and safe with hardly no wobbles
