Show us your kitty cats

Live tracking will always require monthly payments for the mobile connection.

Could just use the offline one and see where she spends all the hours.

Offline one would be no good for me. I want to see where she is and go and get her. The worry and lack of sleep is getting me down. There's also the fact that if someone is taking her in I want to catch them in the act and have words with them.

I think I may try the TKStar as it's pretty cheap and seems to be effective. Using a GiffGaff sim card means it should be cheap to run as well.

You could try to use a live tracking service, just for 1 month.
Within that 1 month you will find out where your cat is going.
So, it shouldn't cost you too much.

I've got the same one as Trixibug.

I've seen this one though. Which I am tempted to get

Never did get to say thanks for the referral for petplan! Been pretty busy with other stuff.

Cat is worried that someone is feeding our cat now too so it's good to see these products out there to track/locate them!

She's disappeared a few times and came back late on compared to being at the door waiting for me after work etc.

Add to that Cat heard someone in the local roll shop saying her mum has moved to this area and has a few cats she is feeding....that really ****ed Cat off. People seem awful selfish or just ignorant to what they are doing.

You give your cat the freedom to roam and **** in people's gardens you can't complain when pee feed your cat so it doesn't **** in their garden and call them selfish.

I have just discovered this weird beast of mine Millie loves Marmite.

Rescued this gorgeous little guy last week... can't have been more than 5-7 weeks old.

We found him running about in the middle of a road in the rain looking very lost. Slightly matted fur, so we think he had been away from his mum for maybe 1-2 days.

He was very happy to come in from the cold, didn't stop purring until we got home and he went to sleep.

Barely been a week and our other little ones are coming round to his presence... which is unusually quick :)

He's quite the little character :D

He wasn't really near any houses, but we went back and put up some posters and put a few through the nearest letterboxes. No-one has come back to us and he doesn't act like your normal house kitten, so we suspect he may be feral.

We're both rather happy that no-one has claimed him as we fell in love with him on the way home...

I find it so odd that she should as she is such a fussy eater but at least I know that she is not alone.

Me want crinkleshoes. Absolutely beautiful.

Peanut has gone missing

Been missing since Thursday last week...devistated

So the Luna Eclipse has a lot to answer for as Peanut returned last night!

I had the back door open with it being a nice night. Snoopy was in the front room with me and then she was on alert, ran out of the room and started hissing at something.

Turns out Peanut was eating her food :o Shut the back door and took about 15 mins before it sunk in that he was home.

Unfortunately, due to Snoopy's and Peanut's hate for each other and until I can get him to the vets for a check up, Pea has been confined to the kitchen and the conservatory for now and he is not happy about it.

Also, he has attacked my legs 3 times this morning, every time when I went to walk away from him. He growls and hisses every time I move something. But he is also super affectionate and very vocal about being home.

Anyone got any advice on how to stop him attacking me and getting him and Snoopy to tolerate each other??

Super news Trix - Doesn't it lift a weight off your shoulders :):)

Next doors ginger cat attacks your legs when you are walking - everyone starts jumping around but I just stop walking and he looks at me as though "you are not playing the game" and walks off.

Anyway glad he is back :D

My cat enjoying the late summer sun. I wanted to get a few pics but as soon as she notices I'm taking a pic she gets up and starts rubbing her head against the camera, or turns around facing away.

Peanut is probably attacking you as you smell of snoopy.

I've finally got my three being friends after I introduced Bruce as a kitten to Dave and Lola. I think what finally cracked it was when I moved house, and they were all locked in together for a fortnight. Having to be close to eachother forced them to spend time together and they've finally made friends. It's taken 3 months.

I know you've had your two longer than that though, and so they've gotten into the habit of not being friends.

Just to check, they're both done? Have you tried a feliway plug in? Do they both have their own spaces they can retreat to and see as their own (for Dave, he found a shelf in the wardrobe that Bruce couldn't get to due to his smaller size) Is there anywhere in your home neutral that they could spend time in together? Are you anxious about it and they're picking up on your stress levels?

I did wonder at times if I would ever get to this stage, when Dave left home twice for over 10 days at a time cos he was in a huff, I questioned whether I had done the right thing. I ended up having Dave inside for 5 weeks in total (3 at the old place, 2 with the others after I moved) as I couldn't risk him not being around when I needed to move house. Bruce at that point wasn't going out either, and so them being in the house together all day when I was at work again forced them to spend time in each others company.

It also helped Bruce was a bolshy little so and so, and kept trying to investigate Dave, no matter how much hissing Dave did :D

Sadly, some cats will never get on, and will only ever tolerate eachother. My three are NEARLY at the point where they will sit together, although not quite, mostly because Bruce is still in the kitten stage of leaping about everywhere like a loon!

Have you asked your vet for any advice, failing that are there any animal behaviourists in your area that could come and give you some advice? It might cost some money, but also might be worth it. The vet might know of someone.

Also can you get two towels, rub the towel all over each cat (Google where their scent glands are as there are lots) and then go and swap the towels and rub them over the other cat, that way they get used to each others smell, in a non threatening way. This was something I did early on with my three to make Bruce smell like Dave and Lola.

Hope I've been helpful, I wondered at times whether I should have put them all through what I have, but they've thankfully made it. :)
