Show us your kitty cats

We have had the kittens a couple of days over a month now and they have made significant progress. While still a little wild at times they are very affectionate now and love to be cuddled. Oscar is a jealous guy because if either of us is giving Cleo some attention he just appears and squeezes between Cleo and whoever is giving the cuddles even though they are treated equally. They are really growing now, especially Oscar who I reckon is going to be a big cat. Still yet to find a toy that is "Oscar proof" as he just destroys them all. They are still inseperable, probably even more so now. They sleep together, eat together, wash each other (so very cute) and play together, they are just so very adorable. Unfortunately we have still made zero progress to get Abby to accept them.

Fernley is not looking too shabby for 12 years old. We're moving house and we're not really sure what's best for him. Shut him in one room with food and litter whilst we unpack? It takes him a long time to adjust to new places and people.

^They are gorgeous.

Took Oscar up to have the snip and get microchipped this morning and got a bit of a surprise. No, he isn't a she. In four weeks he has gone from 1.65kg to 2.54kg!! I knew he had had a bit of a growth spurt but not that much. They were 18 weeks old yesterday. The vet reckons he is going to be a big cat which we already guessed as his paws are huge. The op went well and I picked him up at 14.00 but he was still woozy and couldn't walk in a straight line but by 17.00 he was back to normal and running around wrecking the place with his sister. The best bit is that he hasn't murdered me yet for making him have the snip although if I no longer post on here after tonight you know he's bumped me off in my sleep.

This cat is crazy but he is pretty awesome.

Just have to be careful if there's any food left near him. I was trying to get a picture of him just sat watching my pizza because I found the way he was looking at it amusing but then he thought he'd help himself to a pepper:

I also made the mistake of leaving my glass of water nearby when he hopped up onto my desk once:

I've got no idea what I am going to do with the cat on moving day. Might have to give her to next door while I get the removal guys in and out all day. She usually dissapears all day and comes back at evening time but on that moving day I won't be there any more.

We've put him in the conservatory with food water and litter and once the kitchen is done he'll have the con + kitchen etc.

In the new house he'll have the smallest room with the same whilst we sort out all the other rooms.

We did think about taking him to my dad's for the day/ night but I think the longish car journey and being in a strange house without us would be more stressful.

When I moved I emptied one room first (spare room) and kept my two in there whilst the movers filled the van. My partner and I took turns to sit in with them to make sure they were OK.

Once the van was full she took the cats to the new house and popped them in the bathroom with litter food and water (that way any accidents were easy to clean) - again taking in turns to sit in with them for a bit. Once everyone left we simply opened the bathroom door and let them wander at their own pace. Think it took them about 30 minutes to come downstairs and find us for a cuddle haha

Thanks for the tips :)

Not all cats do jump in boxes - Ronnie just looks at them and wanders off.

Holly bless her always had to have a look but that was it -never stayed in there.

PS. Milo the tom from over the road wanders over here every night at 9.30 and sticks his head in a watering can and has a long drink.

Well we are in. Fernley had a pretty stressful morning being shut in the conservatory and then his basket whilst we waited for the funds to go through and the key. Now he is exploring cautiously which is pretty good, we thought he'd be hiding in his carrier in the 'Cat Room' where we put him out the way.
