Show us your kitty cats

So after last nights knife fight I thought I would start today off by showering a 13 year old cat, that has never been in the shower (the loon will sit out in heavy rain though)

And tbh, apart from a few scrapes with those rear talons, she was as good as gold...Didn't really like it, but let me apply the special shampoo and did not really object too much when I washed her down with the shower nozzle.

She soon forgot it all when the treats came out of the draw, although I suspect she might leave me a present in my mouth as I sleep tonight

Firepit removed.

@Nitefly - you are so right about BSH's and hair, neither I nor hubby can wear anything black anymore. And when we shop for clothes, a quick brush up against an unfriendly fabric has both of us saying "Can't buy that, it's a cat hair magnet!" And yes, their personalities vary immensely, unfortunately we lost one brother at Christmas '21, and the other one seems to have taken on some of his traits, which is incredibly weird.

Your two are stunning btw!

My two BSH used to cast like crazy. TJ had a totally different coat though from Sky, it was always a lot longer and thicker. You could pet him a couple of times and youd have hair everywhere. Even 3 months after he passed, we are still finding hair all over the place and brushing down coats and jackets.

Today we lost our beautiful baby boy Buster.

Got a call he was spotted trying to get home this morning so dived out imidately and went and got him. I could tell he was in really bad shape so went straight to the vets.

We did everything we could for him. Unfortunately as he was being prepped for emergency surgery his heart stopped.

He managed to fight back to us twice but on the 3rd time we made the call to let him go and he passed with his family around him.

Words can not express how much this handsome troublemaker and the antics he got up to will be missed.

I dont think ive ever cried so much in my life. Quite literally feel like someone has ripped part of my chest out.

Rest in peace buddy. I wish I could have done more for you, you didnt deserve to go so early.

So very sorry mate and feel your pain @kindai

After being missing in the storms last week Autumn hadn't been home, we called her all day and went out to try and find her

I found her not far from the house but looked like she had been hit by a car - gone at not even 10 months. Whole house was in floods and I'm selling up now typing this

RIP Autumn
