Can you come to my house and teach Ronnie not to shread your hands when you put your hands anywhere NEAR his belly.

It would be so nice to hold him in your arms and just rub his belly - We had a cat Tiggy who was so soft you could do anything to her- If she was asleep in front of log burner wife would grab all four legs -roll her over -vac - then roll her her back and she never woke up..

Hmm Tiggy? This one is called Tigger, maybe a name change will balance the universe and suddenly your cat will allow it then too!

I can pick up Tigger and walk around with her no problems lol, but whether she chooses to stay where you then plan her or not is purely down to cat-decision making in the moment. It's a 50/50 at that point :D

But yeah with paws etc she often sits with paws folded and tucked under all the fur and you can dig in and pull out the paws and everything no problems which is kinda cool.

Paha, my Jess is the same, I've had one belly tickle and that's about it...

My Tilly on the other hand, she's just so soft, speaking of which last night she decided to come lay next to me as I was doing some work!

When we lived in a renter this lad came looking for love and affection.

He lived three doors down - Seems GK's kept jumping on him and he would lash out - reason for that is he was stone deaf so didn't hear them coming.
We called him Wilton and he was matted - so bad he walked sideways - One night after evening meal wife picked him up and I cut out some of the knotted fur - did this for days till he ended up like this

He looked a mess but he was so much happier and could walk in a straight line - He walked like a boomerang and at one point pulled skin off his side.
We were tempted when we left to ask if we could take him but where he was was a small loop road but we had a small lane which has loads of farm machinary up it along with boy racers and delivery drivers so a bit dodgy for a deaf cat.

I kept getting call from estate agent after we left asking about a ragged cat and kept telling her it belong three doors down..

PS We felt so guilty leaving him behind even though he wasn't ours.

Finally managed to get Kitler into the house for the first time in a while.
Every now and then she gets it into her head that she needs to protect her (our) property and will fight off all that intrude on to it, unfortunately that includes some of the feral cats from the farm up the lane, and those cats could easily take down a full grown bison at a pinch, but she does her best.
Unfortunately that means she doesn't come in for days or eat properly and looks pretty much beaten up, but tonight she's locked in with all the food she can eat, and she's not going out until she's had a decent meal and sleep.
I knew she'd be hard work when I got her from the rescue, and she is, but I love her more for it..
