But you will, as much as it annoys you the days will not be the same without an assignation attempt on your life.I won't however miss her trying to murder me on the stairs most days.
I am sorry for your loss, RIP

I have had quite a few going off around here since Friday.Mine got locked in last night. Including a stray. Sorry, buddy, you timed it badly so you got an enforced sleep-in.
It wasn't too bad. Unfortunately, it always seems to be the worst offender, that lets his fireworks off randomly before the 5th, is the one that always catches me by surprise.
Yeah Diwali here wouldn't stop till about half 11 at night, both my cats got a bit fed up and just sat near me till it 100% stoppedIt was Diwali yesterday, so this week/weekend it'll be because of that, then we have all next week for Bonfire
Here we go:I expect there'll be a fireworks-related petition we can sign on the gov petitions site before long.
My Bonnie was euthanised this morning. 14 years and 8 months though we only rescued her 3 years ago so only had her for her retirement.
Pretty heartbreaking. She started being unwell until a month or so ago when a sore opened on her back leg. She had been on antibiotics and was starting to improve but over the last week rapidly deterierated. We think it may have been pretty agressive cancer.
A photo from the week we got her. Settled in rather quickly.
@subbytna thanks!
We ended up going away to the Lake District for 3 nights to get out of the house, it was the right move tbh as otherwise i'd just be thinking about it.
Come back still sad but in a slightly better place / frame of mind.

So the inevitable day has come, Casey is being put to sleep today at 3pm after giving us all of her love and some terror over the past 13 years.
Upset isn't a word which covers this, she will be badly missed and i suspect both dogs will be searching for her in the coming weeks.
I won't however miss her trying to murder me on the stairs most days.
The household is very sad already, dreading 3pm xxx
