**** me some people are narrow minded. You don't like the VX220, you like the Elise. Fair enough. Sam likes the VX220 and that's his privaledge.

Most VX220 owners debadge their cars as the large V on the front spoint the clean angular look of the car and it also gives them the ability to upgrade the front mesh. I love the look and it's great.

This snobbery is just ludicrous. Yeah, a suit might have a George label but if I'm happy with the quality then I'll pay the premium for it, label or not.

Congrats on the car Sam. Looks lovely. I was at Cars in the Park on Sunday and there was a few there indluding a lovely low black one sat on compmotives, it was stunning. If you're happy with your car then who cares eh? :D

We are telling you that you dont have a clue about cars because you are doing ridiculous things like commenting on the quality of the interior plastics and comparing it to a Toyota Supra. You'd need a neon sign outside your house saying 'I have no clue' to demonstrate it any clearer than that.

I HATE Vauxhall. With a passion. I will never buy one of their cars, I hate the brand, I hate the things they make, they are woeful. This is common knowledge on this forum. But even I, the most prejudiced Anti Vauxhall person ever, can see through the badge to see that the VX220 is an excellent car and a real enthusiasts choice.

You dont buy a car like a VX220 because of image.

No Ford, No Renault, No Vauxhall.

Who gives a toss about manufacturers. If the car is excellent then people will buy it, whatever brand.

Look at Skoda. The Octy vRS is a great car for the money and it is a VW.

Vauxhall also do the VXR8/Monaro which is a huuuuuge V8 beast for very little money.

I was just going to call him one of the bluetooth headset people...he'll likely have an Audi next if he does have an M3...although if he does have a BMW it'll be a 318i/316i most likely. :p

Currently I don't drive actually, if you are going try and go somewhere with this, there is no point. I view cars on their actual merits, like performance and driving, not the badge or interior. :)

I do have a license and have had for 4 years, and will be getting something fun and reliable in a few months. :)

I think this one has gone far enough now :(

I really dont see why others pick holes in other peoples cars, they buy for it for a reason and more often than not they're happy with with it :)
I'm sure many people would trash me for having an overpriced civic but like others in this thread, i'm happy with it and dont really care if everyone else hates it :p
