Look again. Front of the e36 is on BMW Motorsport wheels, the rear isn't!Lol OcUK
E36 is on M3 'Motorsport' wheels and E46 are OEM for that model.
Hardly ruined. E36 is the best looking out of the bunch IMO

Well, that's just your option? Grandad. I think the E36 looks spot on there.Any car which is lowered to the point where you can't see the top of the tyres fully in the wheel arches looks stupid.
I'm not against tasteful modifications on any car, but can someone explain lowered and 'stance' cars to me? I see them quite often and they just look ridiculous and like the suspension is broken? Is it meant to look "well sick bruv"?
I enjoy looking at unique cars much more than your daily diesel BMW
There's something about an E36 on the BMW Motorsport alloys. (I'll just visualise them on the rear for now)
But I agree. People have completely different tastes in cars. If I was to exclusively track it - although I would use the E36 Coupe rather than Saloon/Estate - I'd have it with that stance, otherwise it would be raised by about an inch for general use (and wouldn't bother adjusting it for a show). Friend of mine had to take every speed hump sideways at about 2mph for that exact problem in his E36.![]()

Why would you specifically use the coupe over the saloon for track work?
Saloon (without folding rear seats) has a stiffer body also, technically better for track work.Quick research actually shows very little weight difference between the Coupe and Saloon. I thought there may have been a bigger difference, hence what I said above. Still prefer the looks of the Coupe though.![]()
