Show Us Your Motors!

Nothing particular about it, And while your at it, i don't care who you are, or if your are a "man of honour" stop talking to me like i'm a kid.
Just because it states that im a thug on the left, don't assume you can talk to me like one. if you think i'm lying thats your problem, not mine.
End of.

I think he is asking as an ex-zetec driver who used to modify his car too, rather than in the manner you are implying.

Re the Escorts, surely you can look back on those cars of your youth (you said it was when you were younger?) and have a laugh about them? All of the escorts above look absolutely shockingly bad and tbh its a shame to even see them here! :(

To you they look bad, each to their own.
Why is it a shame? because its not a merq? or bmw? the thread is titled show us you motors, which is what i did.
Can't understand why it's such a big deal. anyway, i'm sick of talking about all this now, can we just leave it at that please.
Thanks
David

If you choose to take part in a "show your motor" thread you open yourself to comments both good and bad. I'd having a chuckle to myself about the cars above. I have also posted in the thread, feel free to do the same in return.

Impressed with the R19. I had a phase 2 16v back in '97. It was met. blue and I lived it. So did mr rust. It was also really fragile even though I treated it with kid gloves. Never buying another french car :(

edit - don't think I've put a pic up of my current runabout

Right with regard to my car, its still my first car that ive had for 3 years so insurance was too costly for me on a Gti so decided to smarten mine up will all the extras.

In the end it got to a point where i couldn't use it anymore(on rally events at least) due to it having no grip at all when your foot was down. its spends most of it's life locked away now. which is a pity. still nice to get it out every now and again, if only to hear those thottle bodies open up. lol :)

Know exactly what you mean, the more you tune them the less driveable they get :(.

The 2L Zetec (N/A) in Dads Westfield is putting out 250BHP currently, and as if that wasn't bad enough in a 500KG car it's got a ceramic twin-plate paddle clutch  :(. For some unknown reason he hasn't let me on Combe with it yet!

I take it hes running ITBs on the 2L zetec??

Soldierboy cheers for the comment, not a fan of WRC spoilers though (especially on 5 doors!) they belong on a cosseh!

lol, indeed, they do become a handful with that sort of power :)
Bet that westfield is awesome fun tho!
@Gonzo0, i know what you mean, its does look out of place, tbh, at that age all i cared about was making my it look like a rally car, As all the local event i took part in would be full of sierra's and mk1/mk2 escorts., i guess i just wanted to try and look the part too, even if it didn't work out lol,
It looks a bit different now mind, wrc spoiler is gone, its now white instead of the peppermint red.
New rally pig is a xr4x4 :)

Really like the look of that, a guy at work has a 2.4l A4 he is looking to sell cheap...didnt realise you could change the whole look by adding some nice alloys and a slight drop.

My Dad's Jag and my Mini in the office carpark today. It is so small in comparsion its funny...and I laughed when I looked outside the window while drinking my coffee when the Aston Martin had to park on the road. :p
