Love the car, yet I keep thinking of moving it on and just getting a a cheap run around as I'm mostly just driving it in and out of work lately!

I need to stop coming into this section of the forum, I always leave jealous

I could post some pictures of the Qashqai

Annoyingly I'm getting the itch to buy something new :( but that means getting rid of one of the vehicles I currently have to free up a parking space - don't think I'd be very popular taking up more room.

It's more than likely that the discs have pad deposits on them, it's extremely rare for discs to warp.

GLWTS.

Had already wire brushed the discs to try freshen them up but hadn't sorted it. New discs and we're all good - the old ones one of them had a load of leaves in the cooling vanes (half burnt) which probably wouldn't have helped.

It's provisionally sold back to Dreamcar so will come back up for raffle sometime soon. They're coming to collect it tomorrow all being well. Now just need to shift the 360 :)

Quite a few red flags yesterday for an RMA day, but the track though dry was low grip due to the ice melt treatment they did on the circuit first thing to melt ice which just like salt on a dry road reduces grip, so a few cars went grass cutting, even myself nearly at one point, otherwise great day, over taking either side really came into its own. Good day and was very quiet in afternoon, absolute bargain for £199 for such a low car day!

Some photos: :D

I can post pictures of our very reliable, but very dull 15-year-old Honda CR-V if it would make you feel better.

Lets bring some normality back to this Forum, get them posted

Got a ceramic paint protection put on the leon, then drove it home and coated it in crap again :(

Hello fellow Leon owner.

If you’re wondering why the LED headlight beams are so low, it’s a common question/issue and raised a few times in the seat/cupra forums.

There’s a plastic allen/hex screw under the bonnet on top of the headlight that adjust the default height. You can turn this (anti clockwise) to raise the lights default height.
I have raised ours by half a turn on each of our Leon’s over the years (on our third) and it greatly improves them and no, they don’t dazzle at all, you’d have to go beyond a full turn for that.

Commiserations on having to use the touchscreen for everything. You’re not alone.
