Show Us Your Motors!

Hello fellow Leon owner.

If you’re wondering why the LED headlight beams are so low, it’s a common question/issue and raised a few times in the seat/cupra forums.
yes we found that probably the first day of ownership - they were dangerously low but will be interesting to see if they get re-adjusted as part of the MOT.

My biggest bugbear is the heat/volume captive thing not being lit - at night its a pain in the rear to adjust the in car temperature :(

We only had one Leon to the point of MOT and they never touched nor mentioned my change. Not sure if they'd raise them from default, good question.

Horrible design, it really is. I suggest using the 3x screen option and put the mostly used options in the first screen. Not sure if air-con is one of them, we're usually a "set at 21 and leave it" sort of people.

Well, last shot of the Evo, cleaned it up and then did a 2 min drive in it and it was filthy again so that was completely pointless :D

Didn't even make it to being advertised, DreamCarGiveaways bought it back off me and I expect it'll be back up for raffle in the next few weeks. Will buy some tickets just on the off chance... :D

Imagine that!

It's the option I'd have taken to avoid the usual comedy involved in selling a car.

'I've got £25k cash here'. What, instead of magic beans?

I'd be OK with it :D

Yep was my preferred option, in my experience selling 'JDM' vehicles you do unfortunately tend to get more time wasters than all the other cars I've sold. I got what I needed out of it for my next crazy idea anyway :) Just need the 360 to sell now, few bits of interest but nobody has come to view it yet.

Assuming it's the Banbury 360 on Autotrader it looks amazing. Huge want, just the small problem of lack of funds :(

That's the one :) It's a beauty for sure, confident if I can get someone infront of it it'll go. Still not really the right time of year to be selling a spider but likewise the recent sunny days have possibly helped.

Had two people so far with loads of comms then cancelled viewings and nothing since. Although this afternoon had a chap phone up about it which sounds like it could be promising :)

sold the lotus ?? :(

Yep getting another Lotus in the forum of a Lotus 7 aka Caterham. :)

That was quick.

As the guy said best one he could see advertised and worth the money had a few sniffing around it but they needed finance whereas todays buyer was a cash buyer so easier all round. Came to view, paid and took it away.

Now on the hunt for a 420R !

Gibbo you really need your own thread for cars as you go through them like socks :D

Just about timing really, made money on the Porsches and broke even on the Lotus means I can jump in and out of different stuff and it’s costing little to nothing to do so and getting to try different cars.

Was gonna buy a new Caterham but they increased prices yet again yesterday making my spec 55k and I can buy used for 40k so gonna see if I can find one for sale privately and cut out middle man as should be 35ish then.

Mate just bought a 620S, 45k. Just had to resolve the over-cooling issue that those models all have on the road. Caterham never recalled them, just copied another vendors bypass fix. British engineering for you
