Photographer at my last wedding had one of these and was raving about it. Trouble is I hate wedding photographers that go on about their kit so didn't want to have a conversation about it.

it will but it would have a equivalent focal length of roughly 50mm (ish), if you did buy it for your crop camera it wouldnt be a bad thing because if you upgrade to FF then this lens will work fine

also 50mm on a crop is a great focal length, you could save about £200 and go for the 30mm DC version but that would not work on FF

Noooooooo! Back to Fixation are going to love me

It feels/sounds like some friction between the internal focus barrel and part of the housing, needs to be lubed up.

Strangely focus speed and hit rate is still perfect which confirms to me it's not an AF mechanism friction noise but something on the barrel itself. Have sent Fixation a message to see what they estimate.
