now coffee nuts... tampers, flat or curved bottom? I've got a flat bottom one-piece reg barber (its very old - they no longer do one-piece tampers)... But i bought my Dad a curved base Reg Barber few years back as a birthday gift and tis lovely.
I'm pretty convinced that the more consistent extractions he gets, (despite having a dualit grinder vs my MC2) is down to the Euro curve base....
Is it worth me getting a new tamper, I'm getting bits of channelling and the like - not much but nearly enough for me need a new tamper - just want one shiny shiny
