Just got some of this at the weekend for our bean-to-cup machine at work.

Espresso Lusso

From List : Blended List
Originally designed as the Luxury Espresso to celebrate the return of the Art Deco Icon of the Midland Hotel in Morecambe to its former glory, this sumptuous coffee combines three of our Roaster’s favourites: the sheer class of the El Salvador `Las Delicias`, the Monsoon Malabar for all that luscious body and the `washed` Java Semeru for a lasting finish.

Lovely taste, like rich dark chocolate with a great after taste.

Think I'm going for a Rancilio Silva for the kitchen.
Grinder is the next question, the Rocky looks like perfect match though the budgie might be stretched a bit.

I could afford the £140 but don't really want to spend it, if you get my drift.

I like my coffee, enjoy my Aeropress but I think £60 is enough for this hobby...unless I can be persuaded otherwise

The Kitchen Aid grinder isn't that good to be honest. Certainly not wsorth £140.

Yup the Iberital should see better returns with an aeropress.

Needs to be modified for espresso grind.
Although it now seems popular to use filter grind for the aeropress.
I very it between filter and espresso depending on what the coffee is.

I had the choice and went for the MC2 Auto. I prefered the fine adjustment on the MC2

Sadly the MC2 can hold a quantity of grounds in the burrs and chute - 3g or so. Thats easy to get out though. Just run it for a few seconds with the new bean in to clear out the old stuff before using the grounds.

Andreja arrived at 12PM.

I must say I'm impressed with the service of BellaBarista, I've never had anyone phone me and tell me the status of an order before!!

The machine comes double boxed, as BellaBarisa add an extra with some polystyrene sheets for extra protection, only thing was it made an already heavy parcel heavier, but its worth having it!

Quite chuffed because I got 1Kg of beans and a shot glass thrown in, although there is no indication on the packet showing how long ago they were roasted :/

I haven't set the machine up yet because the area where my Silvia is is too small for the Andreja so I'm going to get a corner unit for the kitchen this weekend. The machine will just have to sit looking pretty for the time being

I'll post up more info tomorrow, just about to head to to bed. And, yes I opened it in my bedroom, lol. Not really got anywhere to store down stairs until a kitchen cabinet/shelf is sorted so my bedroom seemed perfect.

Haha, you summed it up to a T there, like my nice hifi speakers sitting on top of cardboard boxes. I think there's a lot of us who are like this on this forum, to the despair of our wives/gfs

LOL, I've never even thought of getting a table, the box does a fine job!!
